Another way to promote your business is to write informational articles that would help subtly promote your products and submit them to article submission sites on the internet.
An example off the top of my head would be if you sell scrapbooking products you could write an article about how important it is to preserve and display your vacation photos as soon as you return to both protect the photos and to serve as a reminder of your great time off when you are back in the daily grind. You would hope to get your article picked up by travel sites or any general interest or family type of sites. Most sites are constantly looking for content.
When you submit these types of articles there is a place at the bottom for the author's information and links back to your site and/or contact information.
