What is WAHM Life?
Some really have a strong distaste for the WAHM title. I guess they feel that comingling their business with that state of parenthood cheapens things somehow - but I totally disagree.
I'm proud to be a WAHM. I work at home primarily because I am a mom and that does not reduce the validity of my business projects.
Since my term of 'in house motherhood' is all too soon drawing to a close (my son is eighteen now) - does that mean I can't call myself a WAHM anymore? I certainly hope not! I love the WAHM Community and am devoted to supporting and equipping the Work at Home Mom for success - and in my definition, WAHM Success is having a home based business that gives moms the freedom to enjoy their families.

- I am a WAHM and very proud of it! If anything it's a statement of who I am and what I am about. It shows where my values lie and doesn't cheapen anything. Being a WAHM was a choice not a curse. WAHMs are just as capable as those in Corporate America. They certainly have multi-tasking down pat don't they? I'm proud of my life choice and being with my son as well as my business achievements. My choice to be a WAHM means I'm most proud of motherhood and my child! WAHMs ROCK in my book! Great points and 5 Star Lens Kelly!

- I think WAHM are great. They help provide an income source to the family and yet are able to look after their kids and see them growing up.

- Hi Kelly, I don't hate the term Wahm. Although, it sounds like WHAM!! Wasn't that a music group with George Michael in it?

- As far as I'm concerned, as long as you're working at home, and you're a mom, you're a WAHM. :D
