Walking in Style
There's also an insect called a walking stick that looks like a tiny piece of wood, until you see it move. Those are not the ones I'm talking about here, although they might show up here on my page when places I put the word into, searches for the words walking stick.
While researching these canes and walking sticks, I didn't know there were so many kinds, including to use as swords. Reminds me of the t.v. show "Get Smart" when he used a cane as a weapon, or his shoe as a phone. Remember that?
I guess I didn't realize a walking stick is also used as a weapon, too. Oh, to long for a world of PEACE!

- When I was in Delphi, Greece I bought a very plain walking stick, kind of like a shepherd's staff. Was able to bring it back on the plane! A companion told me that he liked them because when he was walking with heavy shoes on, having the stick in his hand and touching the ground was his connection to earth.
Walking sticks are an art form in and of themselves. I really love them.
