Walking for pleasure is just that, enjoy the moment and soak in the atmosphere, these pages are not designed for getting fit although that is a by-product of walking. It's about enjoying the experience and recording that occasion with images. So let's get started on our journey into the wonderful world of walking.
Early morning along any beach on the Gold Coast is an experience to be treasured; there are many unique land formations that make the walk visually appealing, so with that thought in mind we will begin.

Walking Palm Beach

type=text

It is wonderful to walk on the beach early morning, the sun comes up so early during the summer months. One Sunday morning I was up early to take advantage of the cool morning air before the sun grew too hot.
Surprisingly before 5am there were quite a few making their way down for a morning stroll. The 'dog crew' were the early birds.

Walking the length of Palm Beach should take you approximately 40mins but that will depend on how many times you stop to pick up shells or soak in the view. We are talking about walking for pleasure so it will take you a while. Take advantage of walking this stretch of beach early morning during the summer months it can get very warm after 7am particularly if there isn't a sea breeze.
