Walking Trails of Serenity ~ A Pathway Back to Peace
As I gazed outside my window
This glorious sunny day
My vision focused upon the trees
Leaves dancing in praise of creation
Winds blowing gentle warm breezes
Rustling through their boughs.
A bird perched high atop a branch
Singing in joyful tune
Telling all to look around
See what I can see
Bountiful blessings every where
Knowing there is provision without thought.
Across the water sun shine smiles upon the waves
Continuous cycle of movement towards the shore
Never a hesitation or pause
Energy vibrations in radiant bliss
Evolutionary flow in ebbs and tides
Knowing Source abundance is free for all.
Nature's knowing
Peaceful harmony
Joyful song
Being, simply being
Nature's kiss upon your cheek
Reminding you of Source blessing.
Natures Comfort
There is something so special about being in the quiet solitude of nature. As I wander down the pathway I am in awe of sights and sounds before me. The whistling of the wind through the trees as they sway to the sounds in their being, the twitter of birds at home in their nests cradled by touches of sunlight, grasses gently moving as I pass by and the scampering of squirrels heard in the bush.It is when I am in this place that I feel the touch of Source and am inspired to capture the bliss in the camera lens.
We are truly blessed by these momentary reminders of creation in its wholeness.
Walk with me and remember!

'What is on the path, IS the Path. What is in the way, IS the Way'
Maggie Silk-Crane
What is on the Path IS the PathEach step we take down the path to remembrance
Entices us further along
At times the path is narrow and straight
And the distance doesn't seem so far
But then ahead the path takes a curve
And beckons us to explore
Knowing
What is on the path is the path.
Each experience we've created
Brings growth and new direction around, beyond
The place we were before
With new eyes of discovery
We understand so much more
Along the path
No looking back to past opportunities
Nor focusing on what lies ahead
What is on the Path IS the Path
In this moment of NOW
The selections made from our unlimited possibilities
Blessings to behold
What is on the Path IS the Path
Leading us forward toward
Glorious discoveries of our incredible journey
Each step bringing us closer to home

Meandering on the Trail
Through the Trees
Maggie Silk-Crane
Show their winter grays and shades of brown
As I walk along the trail looking into the wind
My eyes tear up from touch of winter wind upon my face
Stopping to clear my vision
I notice a blessing before me
Through the trees a scene of serenity
Appears in my camera lens
Adjusting the focus and wiping my eyes
I see more clearly, just beyond the trees
Below in the flats are tufts of earth covered in tall grasses turned brown
In protection of nature
Prepared for a winter of rest
There is a movement beyond the wind
Canada Geese diving into the protective covering
Away from the wind
There is no toil, no stress, and no strife
As they alit.
Tails in the air, they reach down
Knowing their dinner is just beyond the surface
Unknown to them an observer
Captures their flight and their dining
on this cold winter afternoon.
Blessings of nature abound, when I take a moment to focus my vision along the trail.

Deer Standing Before Me On the Trail
Seeking through Being
Truly find answers only when they begin being
Not through effort, work or toil.
It does not matter what the spiritual being does
But rather knowing who they really are

Spring
Maggie Silk-Crane ~May 1979
A smile in my eyes
The birth of spring
Comes once again, a wonder to enjoy
The grass lifts up to see the sun
Buds begin to grow
Canada geese pass overhead
Across the calm, blue sky
The barren trees begin to green
A crocus shows its flower
The raindrops sprinkle down on us
A cool, refreshing shower
Sundrops and rainshine and early morning dew
A little kiss from nature
For each new flower and tree
And a warm sunshower especially
For me
The quietness of brand new life
Is calming to the soul
A peaceful time, a joyful time
Is free for all to hold
But many will not notice
The wondrous gift of spring
Take time, my friends to feel it
It is the birth of spring.
