WALK TO CURE diabetes 2008

Welcome to my Walk to Cure diabetes lens! I hope you will find this handcrafted lens a unique and useful resource for your 2009 Walk to Cure|fundraising experience. I have two goals with this Squidoo lens:

First, Provide YOU with unique, useful and updated information on the amazing JdRF Juvenile diabetes Research Foundation, the Walk to Cure events, information on what other walkers are doing and unique ways to energize your fundraising, motivate your team & inspire yourself! Re: Custom Buttons | Buttons of Hope - Putting a face on fundraising | North Carolina

Second, I'd like to introduce myself and Buttons of Hope for your consideration. I started Buttons of Hope to give people like you a way to personalize your cause. Rather than just scribbling a name on the back of your t-shirt -- now you can easily create your own custom photo button to honor a loved one or support a friend. Imagine if everyone at the 2009 Walk to Cure wore a button with the smiling face of a loved one, WOW! [more on Buttons of Hope and me below]

So grab a cup of coffee & take a look around -- I hope you will find this a useful and fun resource and please consider wearing a photo button in honor of your loved one ~ together we can put a face on breast cancer!

Join us for the JdRF Ride to Cure diabetes in Asheville, Carmel, Death Valley, or Whitefish, and help us to put one of America's deadliest diseases under our wheels for good.

The Forever Moore Research Initiative

For 23 years now, no one has done as much to advance the JDRF mission as International Chairman Mary Tyler Moore. To recognize all that she has given to JDRF and to celebrate her 70th birthday year, JDRF has created the "Forever Moore" research initiative in her honor.
