Wandering Willows - Downloadable Game Review

The general story of Wandering Willows is that your balloon crashed landed on a strange land. You soon learn that all of the locals also crash landed here although over time they soon decided that they preferred it here and have never left!

You however have different plans and you are eager to rebuild your balloon and get yourself and your pet home! It can not however be done alone, you need to the help of the locals to rebuild your balloon and aid you in being able to leave. The only way that you can get this help from them is if you earn friendship points and develop a friendship with them.

Friendship points can only be earned by completing quests for them, quests such as gather wheat, finding some dye or even cooking a tart. You need to develop your skills at gardening, baking and even clothe making. While your pet develops its skills at climbing, and even digging as it does it can learn to climb tall trees to gather fruit or dig hard mud to find lost items. While doing this you need to ensure that you pet is fed so that it can keep its energy up!

As you complete quests for the locals you become closer to completing the tasks needed to get home!

Create the way you want your character to look, have a crazy hair style in a funky colour or even learn to create your own clothing!

Adorable pets
Don't just have the one pet, befriend and train new fantasy pets. This giving you the help needed to complete quests.

Charm the people and Craft the items
There are so many different zany characters for you to meet on your adventure, complete quests for them by crafting items to use with other items. The only way for you to make it home is to make friends with them!

I really enjoyed playing this game and felt that it provided a lot of entertainment and provided many hours of game play. I liked the unique aspect of being able to create your own clothing so that your character can become completely unique!

I felt that the game did offer a lot of unique features that are currently not in any other downloadable game, features such as being able to use your pet(s) to help you in completing quests and befriending more fantasy pets.

There is so much for people to do in this game, therefore there is generally something for everyone! Become a skilled gardener and grow your own wheat so that you can combine it with fruit to bake a tart or learn new things to bake. Why not get some cotton, find some dye and make yourself a top or even a hat!
