World of Warcraft Tips, Addons and the Horde Leveling Guide

So, you want to learn more about fast world of warcraft horde leveling? Here are some good tips, addons and a horde leveling guide for you.

There is a variety of paths many gamers follow when they want to avoid the boring beginners' WOW levels. One of the options is to get a good Horde leveling Guide if you play Horde. There are certain guides for Alliance as well, but I'm going to concentrate on Horde here. Many wow-ers pay other players to do the power leveling, but once you have got all the best tips and a proven horde leveling guide you can easily do all the leveling yourself.

OK, every player needs some tips to get through the earliest levels with less hassle. If you are a newbie it is very time consuming process to learn the map, work out how to save enough gold and build your general strategy. Here are some good tips for you that will work no matter what class/race you are.

# Addons
You are going to need some addons that will make your life much easier in the early levels. Using these it is possible to jump levels very quickly in the area you don't know absolutely and save enough gold in the process.

World of Warcraft Auctioneer - it scans the AH for the items that are listed at lower than average price, that can be bought and resold for a profit. It scans every single item that is listed at the time of scan and produces a database for the server you are currently playing, that has an average selling price for every item. So find the bargain ones and sell the at a normal price.

Monkey Quest addon - this mod allows you to track ALL your quests in log window instead of only 5 in the original one. Also it will say if its a quest item in your inventory when you mouse over it. Additionally, if you are near an npc mentioned in the quest log this mod will bring up the tracked quest text in the window highlights itself.

Cartographer addon - this mod labels all quest givers and vendors that you have found with a "!", "?" or coin icon, names them, shows what quests they have. Once they are completed with your current character, it allows you to set a way point (Pointer above your character with the distance, direction and how long it should take for you to get there) on that npc.

Group Calendar Addon (new!) - This is useful if you group with other players. Group Calendar allows guilds or groups of friends to share an in-game event calendar. The guild can post raid events and members can post events for dungeons they need to do quests for. Additionally, players can provide feedback to the event's sponsor saying that they will or won't be attending an event. Once installed Group Calendar replaces the minimap current time tooltip and sun & moon icon.

# Combine questing and gold farming - most leveling guides suggest to do as many quests as possible for fast leveling, which is true. But many people forget that gold farming gives you experience as well, so combining the two speeds up the process even more.

# Some class/race combinations give certain advantages.
For example, human priest. Shadow priests get a 5 point talent that doubles their spirit (regen) when dealing the final blow to a target that gives honor or exp. Since human priests get extra spirit they get that extra mana and health regen every fight.

# Mass Questing
Don't do one quest at a time and go back to nps every time for the new quest. Instead, do circuits of the zone map to find and complete all the available quests. There are 2 or more quests in many areas. this will save you a lot of time.

# Bluff in the AH
Save some gold this way or make some profit reselling. Mind a very low "x" price for the item you want and wait for the offers. You will have people telling you that the item sells for "2x" gold normally. Tell them you paid "x" before and will never pay more and that you have all the time in the world to wait for a good offer. You will be amazed at how many people will lower their price in a minute to make a quick sale. Works very well with rare items.

# Feed Collectors
A good gold making tip is to supply collectors. Some players enjoy collecting things. So, get to know collectors on your sever and make notes of what thy are after. Then if you run into a thing you might sell it to a collector for well above the average market value. Reselling pets, for example, can make you loads of gold as some of them sell for literally hundreds of gold because they are a rare drop.

# Rogue Lockpicking
If you are playing Rogue, there are a few places in the World of Warcraft where lockpicking is a pretty nice skill to have. Such as when your raid leader has looted some boxes he needs opened. Free lockpicking might get you somewhere...For detailed guide go to: The Lockpicking Guide

# Bigger Bags
When you start as a new character the first and most important thing to save up for will be the biggest bags you can get. Ideally, 12-14 slot bags to start with. This way you can make some additional gold by not only picking up your green and white items, but the money-making grey ones as well when you have some space, which then can be stacked and sold to vendors.

# Use City Guards
City Guards are there to help you! Instead of bombarding chat channels asking for directions in big hub cities - ask the City Guard. They will provide you with all the information you need and will even put a flag on your mini map.

# Dont Buy Gold
If you are still struggling to make enough gold in world of warcraft there's a much better option than buying it from online vendors. Get yourself a copy of The Gold Secrets Guide. This way you will never have to worry about gold again - the guide will teach you how to make up to 200 gold an hour.

# Control Your Pets
Use your pets with purpose! Don't just leave them on "Aggressive". If you do, you stand a very big chance of having to deal with someone who is much stronger than you, if your pets attack him. In many cases a pet on the loose means your quick death.

# Go Swimming
There are many hidden chests at the bottom of lakes and some minerals that will not show up on radar until you are submerged. (For example, the lake near Loch Modan is amazing for tier 1 and has at least 5 chests)

# Enchanting (new!)
The truly savvy WoW gold farmers know that out of all the gold-making professions out there, the best is Enchanting. That's probably why all these gold guides you read on the Internet never mention it - the writers want to keep that market for themselves! For more info about this profession and some other useful tips click here.

# Stay Ahead of Competition (new!)
The good method to jumping out ahead of your competition is to know when the patches are going to occur. Blizzard performs patches constantly, with a major patch occurring every 3-4 months. In these major patches, entire sections of the game can be changed with dozens or hundreds of items
having their stats, uses, or drop rates changed.
The key here is that Blizzard releases notes on their patches usually a month or so ahead of the patch to give players time to get ready.
If you plan ahead by collecting items that will become better after the patch, or selling off items that will become worse, you can make a killing just by reading notes ahead of time. (thanks to "WoW Life")

Horde Leveling guide

Joana's 1-70 horde leveling guide

Right. The above mentioned tips are very useful to get you started and fly past a few early levels successfully. However as you progress further you are going to need a good established strategy to follow if you want to keep the same pace. There are many successful players who work hard to produce a good strategy for themselves to reach highest levels in no time, but only a few of them are then willing to share their resuls with fellow players. Joana is fortunately one of the latter.

So you have followed the basic tips for starters and made yourself familiar with the game. Now what?

Thats where the Joana's 1-70 Leveling Guide comes handy.

This guide is currently regarded as the best leveling strategy guide available if you are playing horde, by all of the experienced players.

Joana has shown the fastest 1-70 leveling time in the world! Officially!

And in this guide he (Yes, he!) shares all his fast questing secrets and strategies. This is a truly unique strategy that has already proven to work hundreds of times!

What do you think of getting to level 60 in 4 days & 20 hours? Quick isn't it?

But how about all this recorded on a video that comes together with step by step instructions in Joana's guide?
That is definately something you dont want to miss!

I wasn't really aware of World of Warcraft until they lampooned it on South Park. I probably would stink at it, being a champion at Frogger. I wouldn't know what to do if my character was realistic and not a bunch of pixel squares :) :)

I'll be the first to admit that I am totally NOT a WOW fan. We let our son play a trial version of it a few years ago and it was not a good experience!

However, I think it's awesome that you took the time to put together such a wealth of information and tips for people who do play WOW!
