Another of my favorite WoW gold tips from inside Warcraft Tycoon, is found in learning how to use Death Knights as alts so that you can make the most gold per hour while you play world of warcraft. Once you apply this tip you immediately see the benefit and you'll wonder why you never thought of this before.

It All Stems From How the Pros Set Up Their Characters For Play

This is how Pro WoW gamers set up most of their characters on a server they wish to dominate.

Main Character- It doesn't matter which character you play but when you are ready to pick your professions Pick 2 Gathering Professions. It doesn't matter which, Why? Because with gathering professions there is a zero time investment so you just gather and sell. Ok nothing new here you say..well here's the best part.

Main Alt- This is your Death Knight Character, and this guy is your crafter. Why a Death Knight, and not another character? Well, as you know death knights start off at level 58 right? Well think about it for just a few hours of play you can ding up to level 58 fast, (usually within an hour or so of play), now jump over the Outlands and again within an hour or two you can hit Level 60.

Now jump the boat over Northrend and you now have access to all the high level profession trainers for only a few hours of game play investment. So by setting up a death knight as your main alt and picking crafting professions, you can potentially level those profession up to 450 for only a small leveling investment rather then having to start from level 1.

Then of course you got your lowbie bank alt, and now you have the beginnings of a properly set up network of characters to maximize the gold you can make. This makes your game more focused and allowing you to concentrate on what matters...running heroics, doing dailies, getting geared, etc, etc.
