Warm-Hearted Walrus
Warm-Hearted Walrus teaches children that having a warm heart and being kind creates a better environment for yourself and for those around you. Bullying has become an epidemic in recent years, so much so that it is to the point of children being afraid to go to school. Instilling kindness in young children is essential to put an end to bullying. Warm-Hearted Walrus helps children learn how to cope with bullies, how to show kindness every day, and how to spread that kindness to others.

Our character education program
Our individual character education program comes with a Warm-Hearted Walrus handbook that includes teaching children how and why to be kind in different situations. We allow students to discover how they should deal with a bully, while providing advice to guide them in the right direction. Our program includes over 150 pages of stationary, curriculum, journal ideas, quotes, various activities, incentives, keeping track of the progress in your classroom, stationary for teachers, and so much more!

Bullying
Everyone has their own definition of what a bully is. You may not realize that your actions are effecting those around you. A simple remark, which could have been made as a joke, could turn into you hurting someone else's feelings.Bullying is a subject that you hear about more and more each day. So what do you do to prevent such a horrible thing from happening? What can you do, as a single person, to help bring more kindness into the world? Where do you even begin?
The truth is, I don't think there is any one answer. You may be able to prevent bullying in your own household, but you can't be held accountable for the actions of the entire world.
At Characters of Character, we believe that learning character begins at an early age. Warm-Hearted Walrus teaches children to be kind to each other. His motto is 'Do not bully', but it isn't the only thing that he focuses on.
Our characters were created to help younger children learn what the 9 character traits that we teach at an early age. Warm-Hearted Walrus may not be an active thought in the mind of a high schooler, but if that person was introduced to Warm-Hearted Walrus at an early age the relationship has already been formed. The characters were designed to introduce, and enforce, the character traits. As the child continues to grow older the character is no longer prevalent, but the character trait sticks with that child.
The earlier that a child is introduced to the characters and traits, the easier it is for them to comprehend the meaning as they grow.

- Those acts of kindness start at home, not when they start school. Its so important to be kind and set a good example to children. It will make the world a better place to live for everyone.

- Oh I just love how you have used the animals, kindness in this world is fast disappearing and it seems to be everyone for themselves, I love it that your program fixes on the basics and encourages children to reach their full potential
