What Is a Warrior Special Offer?

If you're a member of the Warrior Forum, then you may already be familiar with a Warrior Special Offer, or WSO for short.

The Warrior Forum, launched by marketing expert Allen Says, is in the enviable position to host a large group of marketers on every level of the playing field - from the greenest newbie to the "Million Dollars in a Day" gurus.

With all of these marketers in the same place, Says felt it would be beneficial to open up a section of the Warrior Forum where fellow Warriors could sell their services and products at a special discounted rate from what the public sees the offers listed for - the Warrior Special Offer Section.

Here, you might find a service for ghostwriting or programming at a deep discount, or you may be first in line to grab a copy of an information product that isn't scheduled to be released for another week or two - giving you top shot at applying the methods and perfecting your strategy before the mass competition emerges.

The WSO is the place to pick up some great deals on information or tools you need for your online business.

WSOs from a Seller Perspective

"Thar's Gold in That Thar Forum!"

You joined up at the Warrior Forum and POOF! You decide you want to list a WSO as your very first order of business.

Not so fast there, partner!

Allen didn't create the Warrior Forum so any Tim, Dick, or Harry could pop in and tap the goldmine!

You have to be a contributing member of the forum before you get the privilege of listing your Warrior Special Offer.

It's a good thing, as Martha Stewart would say - because you want to build up a solid reputation so that when you do post your WSO, people flock to it and can't control themselves against the temptation of your awesome offer.

"How much can I make?" This is a common question asked by newbies to the forum. You can make a little or lot - it all depends on your offer. Some people make a good living(!) in the Warrior Special Offer forum. Some have made $32,000 in mere hours.

(Some sit there munching a case of Pringles because not one person popped into their WSO - read below to find out why!)

"What does it cost to post a WSO?" Because of the rash of spammy types who stunk up the place with random WSO posts, Allen rightfully started charging a $20 listing fee - PLUS, you have to get approved before your WSO goes live.

If it's a good offer (would it be any less?), then you'll find that $20 is a very cheap advertising cost. What's $20 when you get back a few grand?

Below, you'll find a tip sheet on what makes a Warrior Special Offer a hot ticket and what causes it to fail miserably.

Be Honest!

You know you're guilty of spending more time cruisin' the WSO forum than you do working on your own business. It's okay - we hear rumors that Allen is developing a rehab for WSO addicts!

Bump My WSO

A fun experiment

Dos and Don'ts to Help You Make Bank with a WSO

  • Do!

DO create a unique, one-of-a-kind WSO that isn't a direct knock-off of another one someone else just listed.
  • DO give Warriors a better offer than you list on your public page or trust me, you'll be found out and it won't be pretty! After all ... it's a "Special Offer".
  • DO tell us what the darn thing is about! People don't want vague, random "see if you can guess" WSO offers - if they're ponying up the money for it, they want to know what they're buying. It's not like Woot.com, where a "Random Bag of Crap" sells out in mere seconds. Detail the offer as much as possible, and sales will reflect your good sense of doing business.
  • DO give a guarantee. Fellow Warriors usually don't scam one another - and you should always stand behind your products. The number of refunds are very low, but your number of sales will definitely increase.
  • DO tell what rights come with the purchase. Let them know if it's PLR, for instance, what they can and can't do with it.

  • Don't!

DON'T hound the mods (or Allen) asking when your WSO will get approved. They'll get to it when they get to it. If you still see it listed, it's still on the table.
  • DON'T try to sell something you didn't create. But it is okay to hire someone to create something specifically for you and then sell it (ie: ghostwriter). As long as it's unique.
  • DON'T bribe people to post feedback just to beef up your numbers. If it's good, they will come - and talk. Most Warriors know the proper etiquette of leaving feedback and they know why. Don't be afraid to follow up with people to see how they liked it, though!

Let Warriors Know What You Need!

Don't you hate browsing a menu and not seeing anything you want to order? Now's your chance!

Are You a Smart and Savvy WSO Buyer?

Are your WSO purchases often hit or miss?

Do you go through the aisles like Winona Ryder in Barneys, grabbing everything that catches your eye (with your wallet, of course)?

If you feel let down more often than not, then you might be in need of a crash course in how to invest in Warrior Special Offers.

Don't go in there buying from just anyone. You wouldn't buy a Rolex off a street dealer, would you? You want to screen the seller before you even screen the offer - and NO, red stars don't make one marketer better than another.

First, review the person. Click on the user's name and see what his or her participation has been like in the forum if you don't already know their reputation. They may act all nicey nice in the WSO forum and then show their nasty side all over the forum until they mysteriously get deleted from the forum altogether!

Next, review the offer itself. Do you really want and need that WSO or are you just foaming at the mouth because it's there and you have an extra $37 room on your credit card that isn't maxed out yet?

Is it a good deal? Check pricing off the WSO forum - if it's a good deal, that works favorably for the seller.

What rights are available with it? Can you resell it? Add it to your membership site? Is it just for personal consumption? At the bottom of most WSOs you'll find the rights text.

Is there a guarantee? Some WSOs are as is -- no guarantee. Others are no questions, no hassle, full money back.

Are you seeing anyone else buy it? Do more than just check the post count, because you never know if that's 50 angry customers and 50 replies from the buyer - instead of 100 "this is GREAT" posts.

If it passes your criteria, then go ahead - press that "Buy A Beer" button and fork over the money for it. You'll be grabbing a great product or tool to help grow your business -- at a WSO price :-)

Announce Your WSO -- Promote It Now

Give a short description of what you're offering in the WSO. And a link, of course. Let the other Warriors know what a deal they can get.
