Warts home remedies

A wart is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus and thee appear in different forms and in different places on the body. A plantar's wart is an uncomfortable wart that occurs on the foot, but most other warts occur on the hands and other skin surfaces. Tea tree oil wart treatment

Tea tree oil has a multitude of good uses, one of them certainly is in treating warts. It is an antiseptic that prevents any possible infections that might arise, and almost immediately soothes the skin and clears out the ongoing infection.For this, you need good quality tea tree oil. Use a cotton pad to dab the spot twice a day. The warts usually disappear in a week time or so.

Garlic wart treatment

Not only can garlic be used as a hair loss remedy, it is also very good as a wart cure.It is as simple as this: peel and cut a clove in half. Rub the spot several times a day.

Banana

Rub the spot with banana peel and then use a duct tape to attach the banana peel to the spot. Leave it on overnight.

Apple vinegar

Dip cotton ball in vinegar and attach it to the spot with tape or band aid. Leave on overnight and you should notice the wart disappear in a week or so.This could be also done with alcohol or lime juice, they work the same way.

Most warts home remedies use common ingredients that are readily available or that you already have in the house, like Duct tape.

While most warts home remedies involve the use of safe ingredients and methods, there is a trend that I find bizarre.

I would like to discourage you from something I find extremely bizarre and that I have heard of many times as of a popular home wart tip: silk thread and bare hands. What do I mean?

Someone actually told me they tie a silver thread around the wart, as tight as they can. They let it swivel for a couple of days and then use a nail file to remove it. Ouch! I have not tried this, nor do I plan as it sounds awfully painful and infection friendly.

Second thing, using your fingertips to pinch and twist the wart at its base. Once again ouch! and really, why would you expose yourself to this much pain when there are easier ways and things that could be used as wart removers warts home remedies?

One of the most popular and simplest warts home remedies is Duct tape warts removal. By simply cutting a small square of Duct tape a little bigger than the size of the wart and placing over the wart is all there is to this remedy. Think of how many warts you could do away with, with one roll of duct tape! The square of Duct tape should be removed and replaced every day until the wart is gone.

What probably happens is that when the Duct tape is placed over a wart, air no longer has the ability to reach the skin and the body's moisture is trapped inside. This softens the skin and allows the wart to pull away easily.

Some of the warts home remedies can be used by themselves whicle some can be combined with other remedies.

Another option when using Duct tape for wart removal is to add a bit of a banana peel to the mix. Before applying the Duct tape, rub the area with a banana peel and then place the banana peel on the wart and tape in place with Duct tape. Leave it on overnight.

Or you might try the onion natural wart removal treatment. Slice an onion into small round slices. Fill a small bowl with vinegar and soak the onion slices in the vinegar for 6 to 12 hours. Then place the vinegar soaked onion slice on the wart and cover with duct tape. Make sure it is seal tight in place to keep the air from reaching the area being treated.

Many home treatments for wart removal are available and have been proven to be successful. Next time you have a wart try a wart home remedy treatment and save yourself some time and money.
