Waste My Time: Duet or solo depending on who's singing it
Originally the song is about Jude Harrison (played by Alexz Johnson) falling for Shay Mills (played by Matthew Brown), who also happens to like her. This version of the song has Alexz singing while Matthew raps. The song is featured on both episode 6 and 7 of the first season, but you'll hear a lot more of it if you watch episode 7 "Kiss me Deadly"
In the 3d season, Karma (played by Cory Lee) does a cover of Waste my Time. The song doesn't have a rapper, and it substitutes its rock roots for a more R&B feel. Some of the lyrics were changed, and certain sections were added. Her version is shown on episodes "Lose yourself" (3-1) and "like a virgin" (3-2)
Each version was released in the soundtracks for their respective seasons.
