Jack is back. Just in time.
Bauer is often in the field for the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit as they try to safeguard the nation from terrorist threats. A recurring theme of 24 has characters faced with the decision of whether to let something tragic happen for the sake of a greater good. In Season 2, a Dept. of Defense staffer has the chance to warn CTU of an imminent attack on their building, but argues doing so would put the culprits on alert and thus cause a valuable trail to go cold. A similar situation occurs in Season 5, when terrorists plan to release a canister of nerve gas inside a busy shopping mall. (read more)

- Tony demonstrates that he has the CIP device and is capable of using it by taking control of an air traffic control tower. President Taylor meets with Prime Minister Motobo to discuss US assistance in Sangala, and Henry Taylor pursues a lead regarding the circumstances of the death of his son.

- Jack and Agent Walker capture Tony, who reveals something startling to Jack while in FBI custody. Henry Taylor begins to unravel a conspiracy surrounding the death of his son. Colonel Dubaku delivers an ultimatum to the United States government.

- Tony regains his cover, bringing Jack in as well. Dubaku orders the kidnapping of former Sangalan Prime Minister Motobo. Henry Taylor learns that a conspiracy high-up in the White House resulted in his son's death.

I've watched all these situations happen now and I must say this pick is really tough. Jack has had so many terribly sad moments, I would forgive him if he he wanted to quit from CTU for good. Jack would take out John McClane before he even knew what hit him. Don't get me wrong, I love Die Hard, and McClane can kick some serious ass, but Jack has killed people far more skilled and experienced than John McClane, and not even worked up a sweat doing it! Jack Bauer wins, hands down!!

JOHN MCCLANE all the way!!! I saw 24 first, but I instantly fell in love with Die Hard! I am convinced 24 is a spin-off from it, so I'll go with what I like to think is the original. Bruce Willis is amazing!! Jack Bauer is great, but John McClane is more believable.

Do You Want 24 to Continue On For Another Season?
The story has gotten off to a good start. Lots of twists, lots of new faces that we need to figure out. Old faces too, and nothing seems to be as it seems for too long..Lets hope this is as fast paced and "edge of the seat" thrilling as previous series have been and Fox does not just throw it by the wayside. What do you think, should Fox greenlight 24 for another season or end it altogether?

24 keeps you glued to the tube every minute it's on and makes you want to kick yourself for missing a single episode. Any show with writers with the sack to blow up part of Los Angeles with a boot-leg tactical nuke and make me believe it could really happen and keep me coming back for more has got what it takes!!!
