There's a new class at West Beverly Hills High
90210 looks at life through the eyes of Annie Wilson and her brother Dixon Wilson, who learn from their first day at West Beverly Hills High School that they're not in Kansas anymore. For Annie and Dixon, the awkwardness of being the new kids is made worse by the fact that their dad has taken a job as the high school principal. The school is one big culture shock for Annie, a sweet and friendly girl with a passion for the theater, and Dixon, a star athlete and scholar who was adopted by the Wilson family after they took him in as a foster child. - In part one of the series premiere, Harrison Wilson accepts the job position as principal of West Beverly Hills High, forcing the Wilson family to relocate from Kansas to California and adjust to new life in the city - all while keeping a close watch on their troubled grandmother Tabitha.
- S01E02 The Jet Set
- In part two of the series premiere, Annie meets a handsome student who flies her to San Francisco for dinner on his private jet, but she doesn't tell her parents about it. Meanwhile, Dixon tries to get on with his teammates trying to pull a prank for the rival school.
- S01E03 Lucky Strike
- Annie and Dixon's Friday night plans come to a screeching halt when they learn that Harry and Debbie have planned a family bowling night. When Ethan, Navid and Silver show up at the bowling alley, Harry and Debbie realize they have lost control of their family outing but encourage their kids to spend time with their friends.
- S01E04 The Bubble
- Harry reveals that West Beverly's theater director is no longer able to direct the school musical, "Spring Awakening," prompting Tabitha to offer her services as the new director, much to Annie, Harry and Debbie's surprise. Tabitha's approach with Adrianna doesn't go over well, so Kelly convinces Brenda to take over as guest director of the play.
- S01E05 Wide Awake and Dreaming
- As opening night of "Spring Awakening" nears, Annie and Ty have had a chance to spend a lot of time together and Ty reveals his plans for a one-on-one after-party in his hotel room. Harry catches Annie and Ty kissing backstage and later he and Debbie express their concern for how fast Annie's relationship is progressing.
- S01E06 Model Behavior
- Brenda, Kelly, Ryan, and Harry confront Adrianna and her growing problems, but Adrianna denies being on drugs. When Debbie is given to opportunity to shoot a fashion show for Nylon magazine, Annie decides to use the fashion show as part of her class assignment on careers. Ryan asks Annie to partner with Adrianna on the assignment, and Annie reluctantly agrees, even though she is still upset with Adrianna over her relationship with Ty.
- S01E07 Hollywood Forever
- Annie and Ethan are paired up to take care of a baby as part of a class project and the experience causes them to see each other in a new light. Silver and Dixon continue to get closer and during her half-birthday party at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary, she opens him up to an entirely new experience in public.

I love them both, but Gossip Girl is better. There is no Annie. And that alone makes it better. Annie should be kicked off 90210 and it would be an amazing show! She is so useless. And btw, thought I would hate having Hilary Duff on GG, but turns out, she is wonderful!!!

The CW has gone and Gossip Girl-ified Beverly Hills, 90210, the show that gave a still-grateful nation Luke Perry, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley and Tori Spelling. The resulting premiere teamed with so many scheming, fashion-forward characters it could have been Vanity Fair with bleached teeth and lip gloss. Tell us: What did you think of the new 90210?
