Every body has secrets
The series is very loosely based on the works of real-life forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, who is herself a producer on the show. Its title character, Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan is named after the protagonist of Reichs' crime novel series. In order to make Bones a unique crime drama in the midst of the multiple procedural dramas that already populated network television like the Law & Order and CSI franchises, show creator Hart Hanson decided to infuse the show with very dark humor and character development as much as possible. "Bones" vs. "Crossing Jordan"?
There's a new show in town. Well, a new show based on an old show...In light of the sad reality that "Crossing Jordan" has been taken off the air do you guys find yourselves comparing Bones to Crossing Jordan? I do. I mean, seriously - they're nearly the same show, except that Jordan deals with corpses and Bones deals with, well...bones. Has anyone else noticed the similarities? Both have a dead mom, criminal dads, both buried alive, off again-on again relationship with their hot cop counterpart.
Here's the ultimate question: Which show is better? Bones or Crossing Jordan?

Actually, David Boreanaz plays Booth; Johnathan Adams plays Dr. Goodman. I think that Bones is a much better show. The chemistry between the actors is fantastic, and you really can't beat that. It shows through on screen, making the drama more intense and realistic in the human connections. I love watching the characters develop through the episodes, and the fact that it doesn't focus on simply one point of view. Plus, the story lines are detailed and it always seems fresh to me.

The Books that started Bones on Fox
Comments
Fox's "Bones," is my favorite crime show this fall (so far), continues to rock my Wednesday night. Yes, we've got ourselves a pretty standard Crossing Jordan/CSI-style framework. Inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, Bones is, way better than its skeleton. (booyah) Deschanel, with her husky voice, has an earthiness that pairs perfectly with Angel's David Boreanaz, playing jovial FBI agent Seeley Booth.

Bones is one of the hottest shows on tv and booth is one of the hottest, sexiest, people in it. Zac is cute and hodgens is ugly but has a sexy body. Bones and Booth should go out. They are perfect for each other. In season 4 at the end Bones wants a baby and wants to use Booth's sperm. I think they should have a baby the correct way. The chemistry between Bones and booth should stay there but get better between them. If i were Bones I would go out with Booth. she dosent know what she's missing out on. The girl that marry's David Boreanaz is a lucky girl. I want to marry someone who is smart, hot , sexy, and has a body like David Boreanaz.
