After fleeing a Nigerian operation blown apart by the sudden and unexplained non-cooperation of his U.S. contact, Westen finds himself in his hometown of Miami, Florida, USA, attended to by his ex-girlfriend, Fiona Glenanne, but abandoned by all his normal intelligence contacts.

- S03E01 Friends and Family
- Michael, exhausted and disoriented, finally finishes swimming 5 miles to Miami Beach (after jumping out of "Management's" helicopter at the end of Season 2). No sooner has he washed up on the beach then he is hunted by the police.
- S03E02 Question and Answer
- Michael encounters Detective Michelle Paxson, a Miami police detective investigating Michael, who eventually finds the storage facility where Michael has been hiding explosives. While Paxson works on getting a warrant to search it, Michael plans to get the C4 out before Paxson gets there.
- S03E03 End Run
- Nate returns from Las Vegas to meet with an investor to expand his limo company, and is questioned by Detective Paxson, who tried to convince Nate to betray and reveal everything about Michael's private investigations. Although Nate remained firm and refused, Michael and the team plan to get Paxson into trouble.
- S03E04 Fearless Leader
- Michael reviews the dossier he received on Carla and discovers Carla used "irrigation consultant" as her cover in Kurdistan. He dispatches Sam to investigate all of the irrigation consultants in Miami, but to do so, Sam will need to get the information from a heavily connected Miami politician.
- S02E05 Signals and Codes
- Michael begins the process of tracking down a spy in the field in Miami, aiming to use him to make contact with his former superiors at the CIA and try and properly plead his case and set the record straight - getting his job back (knowing proper channels will be useless).
- S03E06 The Hunter
- When Michael hears about an operative from his past who is hunting him, Michael, followed by a group of Ukrainians led by the operative, turns to James Beck, a truck hijacker and a prominent member of Miami's underworld who has connections to Eastern Europe, for help.

I think I've figured out who burned Michael Westin. We likely have not met the character who burned Westin yet, but I believe they keep making references to him to keep him relevant to the show. And the fact that Carla freaked out when she thought Westin was going to get killed confirms that she is under strict orders to keep him alive.

After watching the first two episodes of the second-half of Burn Notice's second season, I've come away with this odd feeling that everyone's favorite trigger-happy Irish lassie, Fiona Glenanne, might have had something to do with Mikey getting his spy license revoked. Here's why I think Fi could have burned Mike: She is a jilted lover who has never forgiven Mike for leaving her in the lurch.

it is quite obvious in many ways. some it is her father but i don't think so. i think it was fi, she loved him deeply. or who he was in the field. the othe thing that points to it though as sam's distrust in her. i think sam found out. he told micheal that everytime he plays with fire (Fi) he gets burned. he also told him that the one who burned him is closer than he thinks. i think if it is true she wants him to find it out.

I don't see Fi having the clout to Burn him. Someone doctored his official file and then had the BN ordered, which was carried out by the US government. Nothing we've ever been told indicates that Fiona had anything even resembling that kind of power.

Your mission is to catch up on Burn Notice by the time season two premieres-Thursday, July 10 at 10 p.m.! I recommend the whole kit and caboodle of Burn Notice without reservation, and if you won't take my word, then at least listen to dreamy star Jeffrey Donovan, who said, "It's a summer show, there's nothing else on, it's got action, and there are some pretty hot women on the show."
