Show creator Patrick Sean Smith began the show as a spec script of a show that he "really wanted to see," noticing a lack of shows in the format centering on college life. Smith investigated a small mostly greek school in Oxford, Ohio. Miami University became the base for much of the shows scenery and story line. (read more)

Season 2 Episode Guide
- S02E01 Brothers and Sisters
- The fallout from Spring Break is felt during the annual Greek Week competition. Casey focuses on continuing the Zeta Beta's winning streak while trying to control an unruly Rebecca who the rest of the sisters want out of ZBZ.
- S02E02 Crush Landing
- Rusty grows bored with his Polymer Science major and looks to his new RA Max for some advice. Casey hits it off with a guy named Drew but it is revealed that he is Ashleigh's long lost "hotness monster." Both girls compete for his affections at the ZBZ Crush Party.
- S02E03 Let's Make a Deal
- Ashleigh gets her bill for her charge card and in order to pay the bill, she and Casey must learn how to count cards for a blackjack game. The two enlist the help of Rusty and Max with the deal being Casey lets Rusty borrow her car.
- S02E04 Gays, Ghosts and Gamma Rays
- In the process of studying all the actives, the KT pledges uncover the mystery of one called Joshua Whopper. Rusty discovers Joshua's identity but in the process makes trouble for the Kappa Taus. Casey has a crush on Max but their budding romance hits a snag when she learns about Max's past.
- S02E05 Pledge Allegiance
- The KT pledges grow tired of the actives' treatment of them so they plan a revolt. Frannie takes over Casey's role as pledge educator and tries to win over the girls. Casey's attempts to thwart Frannie's efforts cause a strain in her relationship with Max.
- S02E06 See You Next Time, Sister
- Casey, Ashleigh, Frannie and Lizzie attend the ZBZ National Convention in Orlando. At the event, ZBZ sisters can propose changes to the ZBZ National By-Laws. Frannie suggests to overturn a rule which states that removal from office precludes the removed party from ever again seeking that office.
- S02E07 Formally Yours
- When Ashleigh and other ZBZ sisters discuss men, she praises Rusty's great dental hygiene. Casey and Max go to a formal together. At the event, Ashleigh and Rusty bond, resulting in a kiss. Rebecca decides to skip the event claiming that she needs a break from sorority events.
- S02E08 The Popular Vote
- Rusty and Cappie sign up for a speed dating event sponsored by the women's volleyball team. As expected, Cappie does well with the ladies. Rusty? Not so much. Until he meets Veronica, they bond until a waitress takes their order. The catch? The waitress is a woman Rusty used to date!

Wow, I was stunned by a poll that said a stunning 67% of people are loving the new relationship between Casey (Spencer Grammer) and Max (Michael Rady). The big surprise is that less than a third (28%) of fans polled want Casey and Cappie back together! Knock us over with a feather.

Cappie and Casie are complete opposites. I think Casey needs someone more responsible than Cappie. Sure, Cappie's cute and all, but he's not the kind of guy you want to marry, settle down with, and plan a future. So with Max in the picture I'm obsessed with this show..i liked it before but now I'm obsessed.

I imagine that the majority of watercooler talk has been focused on the crazy episodes of Gossip Girl, I actually think that the best hour of television I've watched this season has come from ABC Family's "Greek".
Though Greek is by title about Greek life in college, the program is shaping up to be an honest and generally sweet portrayal of college life in general.
