Everyone wants to help Molly succeed in moving past her mother's madness. Her father (Jake Weber, "Medium") keeps a close watch over her. Her two new friends - the rebellious Leah (Shannon Marie Woodward, "The Riches") and the angelically evangelical Alexis (Shanna Collins, "Swingtown," War of the Worlds) - each try to pull her into their different social worlds. Even the school's psychologist Dr. Emerson (Nina Siemaszko, "The West Wing") is doing everything in her power to help Molly get a fresh lease on life.

Or so it seems.

Yet, even as Molly giddily flirts with Joseph and butts heads with Joseph's competitive ex-girlfriend (Annalynne McCord, "Nip/Tuck"), she can't escape the chilling visions and spine-tingling voices that follow her everywhere. The Haunting Of Molly Hartley marks the feature directorial debut of Mickey Liddell, producer of the highly acclaimed television series "Everwood" and "Jack and Bobby," from a screenplay by John Travis (the forthcoming The New Daughter starring Kevin Costner) and Rebeecca Sonnenshine (American Zombie). The producers are Liddell and Jennifer Hilton.

HALEY BENNETT

Portrays Molly Hartley

Haley Katharina Bennett (born January 7, 1988) is an American singer and actress.

Bennett was born and raised in Naples, Florida. Bennett began high school at Stow-Munroe Falls High School in Stow, Ohio and later studied music and acting while attending Barron Collier High School. She and her mother moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her career in the summer of 2005 during her senior year.

Bennett made her film debut as the pop music singer Cora Corman in the 2007 romantic comedy Music and Lyrics, alongside Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. Bennett sang several songs for the Music and Lyrics soundtrack, including "Buddha's Delight" and "Way Back into Love". Fragments of "Entering Bootytown" and "Slam" are heard during concert scenes in the movie. "Invincible" can only be heard during the end credits, and is only a minute and a half long.

She has signed a three-picture deal with Warner Brothers Pictures and has finished filming her second movie College. Bennett is soon to star in a film called The Haunting of Molly Hartley (2008), playing the lead role.

She appeared in the February 2007 issue of GQ in the GQ/Features section.

In 2007, she signed with 550 Music/NuSound Records (part of the Epic Records family of labels), and began working on her first album with the aid of singer/songwriter Shaley Scott. Haley Bennett performed her first live concert at The Mint in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 19, 2008.

Bennett appeared in the October issue of Teen Vogue in the Young Hollywood section.

SHANNON WOODWARD

Shannon Marie Woodward (December 17, 1984) is an American actress. She currently plays the role of Di Di Malloy on The Riches, and her past credits include Man of the House, the television series Law and Order: SVU, Psych, and The Quiet.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in Florida, she appeared in a series of local stage plays, which earned her the notice of a casting director for Nickelodeon's Clarissa Explains It All.

Since 2000, she has worked mostly in TV, taking on small roles on programs like Boston Public, Crossing Jordan, Malcolm in the Middle, and Without a Trace. She can be seen in the upcoming She Lived in 2009.

Woodward also sings and plays guitar. And according to TVGuide, wrote a song for The Riches episode "Slums of Bayou Hills" where she sings and plays with her stage-brother, "Cael".

She accompanied British actor Andrew Garfield to the British Academy Television Awards 2008 in 2008.

CHACE CRAWFORD

Portrays Joesph Young

Chace Crawford is best known for his role as Nate Archibald in Gossip Girl on The CW. He grew up in Texas, has one sibling, a younger sister, Candice Crawford, who is Miss Missouri USA 2008. Crawford played football and golf in high school. He graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in 2003. After high school, he moved to Malibu, California, to attend Pepperdine University. He struggled to identify a career path, vacillating between advertising, business and communications majors. Midway through his second year, Crawford's mother encouraged him to pursue acting. He credits her for initiating this bold move. She states that "it was a practical move", based on a career aptitude test he had taken in high school which revealed that he was best suited for a career in the performing arts. He was signed by the first talent agent that interviewed him.

Crawford is set to appear in two movies in 2008, Loaded, starring alongside Jesse Metcalfe, Taylor Cole and Monica Keena, and the independent movie The Haunting of Molly Hartley with Haley Bennett, AnnaLynne McCord and Shannon Marie Woodward. He has also made a guest appearance on the TV show Family Guy in the episode "The Former Life of Brian".

ANNALYNN MCCORD

AnnaLynne McCord (born July 16, 1987, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA) is an American actress, who is best-known of her portrayals as Eden Lord on Nip/Tuck and Naomi Clark on 90210.

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She was home-schooled and graduated at 15.

McCord appears in the 2007 horror film remake Day of the Dead, and the 2008 horror film Slaughter. In addition to appearances on Close to Home and The O.C., she plays rebellious Loren Wakefield on the MyNetworkTV limited-run serial American Heiress. She was also cast as the star in another MyNetworkTV telenovela, Rules of Deception, but it never came to the air due to a change in the network's programming strategy away from telenovelas. In addition, she appeared in two first season episodes (19 and 20) of Ugly Betty as well as an episode on the first season of Greek, and an episode on the fifth season of Cold Case.

McCord portrays Eden Lord, a character in the fifth season of the FX series Nip/Tuck. She is currently portraying Naomi Clark on the new 90210.

Shanna Collins is an American actress. Shanna currently stars on CBS' 1970s television series 'Swingtown.' Her tv credits also include a recurring role on "Wildfire" and guest starring appearances on CBS' "Criminal Minds", "Without a Trace" and "Close to Home."

Among her feature film credits are the independent film 'On the Doll' in which she played a call-girl along side Brittany Snow. Collins was born and raised in Dallas and currently resides in Los Angeles.

MARIN HINKLE

Portrays Jane Hartley

Hinkle was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the daughter of Margaret, a state supreme court judge, and Rodney Hinkle, a college dean and teacher. She attended Brown University and New York University (NYU).

She is best known for her role on ABC's hit cancelled show Once and Again as Judy Brooks from 1999-2002. She started her career on the soap Another World.

She has made several guest appearances on different shows such as Spin City, twice as different characters on Law & Order, Without a Trace, ER and House.

She currently costars on the CBS hit show Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer as Alan's neurotic ex-wife, Judith. She has starred in at least fifty-one episodes of this show making her a regular surpassed only by the principals, Conchata Ferrell and Holland Taylor.

She has had several small roles in films such as I'm Not Rappaport, Frequency, The Next Big Thing, I Am Sam and Dark Blue. She has also performed on the stage, for example in 2005 as Miss Julie, opposite Reg Rogers, in the 1888 play of that name by August Strindberg (Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, New York) (see New Yorker, 30 May 2005).

She has been married to Randall Sommer since 1998, and has 1 child.

JAKE WEBER

Portrays Robert Hartley

Jake Weber (born March 19, 1964) is a British actor.

Weber was born in London, England and attended Middlebury in Vermont, where he majored in English Literature and Political Science, graduating cum laude with a BA. He attended the Juilliard School, from which he graduated in 1991, and also studied at Russia's famed Moscow Art Theatre. He sang in Middlebury College's Dissipated Eight.

Weber's break-out role in the US came in 1993, as a lawyer informant in the thriller The Pelican Brief with Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington.

Weber has appeared in several films and has made several television appearances on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent, NYPD Blue, American Gothic and Law & Order. But it is his role as the supportive husband of Allison DuBois (Patricia Arquette) in NBC's Medium for which he is best known. In real life, Weber and girlfriend, Elizabeth Carey, have a son named Waylon born in 2006.
