A Portable water filter provides clean water and peace of mind
Have you ever thought that a portable water purifier would be great tohave on your next trip outdoors? If you are a camper or backpacker you
know that having a portable water filter could mean less stress on your
back and your mind.
A portable water purifier could mean the difference between you
having a great camping experience, having someone hiking out of camp to
get more water, or having a person stay in camp purifying drinking
water by boiling it. That doesn't sound like my ideal camping
extravaganza.
Most people use home water filters, because they know to protect
themselves against drinking straight tap water. It is no secret that
water could be contaminated. So, when you go outdoors if you are
planning on using a water source that is convenient you have to use a
home water filters or be forced to purify your water by boiling it. Did
you know that boiling water removes parasites from your water? It
doesn't protect you against the toxins and chemicals that could still
be there.
You need plenty or clean
safe water everyday
A Water Purifier can keep you on the trail longer!
Stay hydrated when you hike, camp or kayak

Did you know that everyone requires at least 8 glasses of water a day
to survive in normal circumstances? Of course you did. You have heard
that since you were a kid. However, did you know that as you increase
your activity level you need more water than average because your body
is expending it more rapidly. Don't limit yourself by relying on boiled
water at the end of the day. A portable water filter can provide pure
drinking water throughout the day so that you can perform at your best.
It is faster and more efficient than boiling.
When I found this out it made sense, but I hadn't thought about how
important getting fresh water on the move can be before. So, if you am
outdoors hiking, backpacking or just playing I need more water than my
average day sitting in front of my computer working. How am I going to
make sure i get plenty of safe drinking water that is convenient while
I am camping or hiking? The answer is a portable water purifier that can be used in a variety of water
situations.
Drinking non purified water can be deadly
The fact is that no water in the wild should be consumed unless it has
been purified. A portable water purifier can save you the expense of a
trip to the hospital due to contracting a parasite or other
contaminants that were in your drinking water. It can save you a hours
of boiling, You want to enjoy your time away from the daily grind. You
don't want to be stuck in an emergency room after a camping trip
suffering from nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps. You want to have
more time on the trail and nights by the fire.

- The big berkey purifier is best known for its size, suitable for use by small and medium sized families. Made from 304 stainless steel and with a storage capacity of around 2.25 gallons it is amongst the best models to have at home. It has ability to purify up to 3 ½ gallons per hour.

- Water filters and water coolers come in all different sizes, shapes and varieties, ranging from carbon filters which pull out chemicals, including chlorine and PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyl compounds). Some include reverse osmosis water filters, others are distillers, and some are ozonators which kill parasites. There are water filtration units that can be attached to the shower head, under the sink and on the plumbing for the entire house. If you go camping or travel frequently, a water filter can be taken with you that fits inside a lunch box or backpack. Whatever you need in a water filter can be found; whatever you do, get one!

- That makes so much sense! I think getting a filter for traveling is a great idea! I mean, we have one for home of course. But it doesn't really work when we're traveling, except what we can bring along in a few jugs and maybe a cooler.
It's awesome that they make portable versions that we could just pack up and take with us. It'd be a lot easier and probably take up a lot less space in my car (or backpack, or boat). Thanks! :)
