Washing the Car & Detailing options

Even washing the car and detailing has taken on some pretty good options. You'll want to keep you car nice and clean as it will keep your car looking new longer. However, there are far more important reasons for keeping your car clean. Dust, sand, salt in the winter - all of these are miniscule, abrasive particles that attach themselves to your paint and finish.

If your car is not washed on a regular basis, these particles can literally scratch the finish of your car. Some substances such as bird droppings or tree sap can even eat through your clear coat, leaving your finish unprotected and vulnerable to additional wear and tear.

Washing and cleaning is important and really should be done weekly. Various elements and substances that our vehicles are exposed too vary by where we live and the season. Protecting our vehicles just makes good sense as elements and substances our cars are exposed too can be very harsh.

Until recently we basically had two options in cleaning the car. Wash the car at home or go to a professional car wash center while getting more gas at the same time. Washing the car at home the old-fashioned way isn't as safe as once thought. More damage than good is done.

However, taking your car to a professional car wash can ensure a safe and thorough cleaning as well as provide the means to protect the environment around you. Most of use don't spend a lot of time researching products. Dish soaps and household cleaners are very popular for cleaning the car but strip the coating from the finish.

Well, a new option is becoming more popular every day. The waterless car wash and polish has become the new kid on the block. It comes in extraordinary packages with all sorts of different detailing support products for cleaning the tires, leather, oxidation, bugs and chrome.

The ease and convenience is such a wonderful change from old traditions, your review of this issue and information should be a definite must do thing if your interested in the newest technology about washing the car.

Car Washing and Detailing in a new way

Detailing your car

For most of my life, car washing has been a simple weekly routine. Grabbing a pale, brush, rages, the water hose, Windex, paper towels or an old newspaper and off I went. I also vacuumed the car, cleaned the dash and arranged my little bumble bee that hung on the mirror in the front.

As I think back on those good ole days of my time a brief smile crosses my cheeks as I remember that my 1949 ford was the cats meow! My parents traded in a car for a new one and the car dealer threw in my first love for $50.00 bucks! I'm now a senior and that memory still clearly stays with me. And occasionally, I still enjoy washing the car.

Today, water shortages, droughts, contamination, and rationed water including area's of restricted water use has become a very normal state of affairs. From California to Florida serious restrictions have been put into place.

Every time a vehicle is washed with water 100-200 gallons of drinking water is wasted and contaminated with the different chemicals that are used for washing problem areas such as degreases, etc...

A waterless product I use also makes a huge impact on the environment. Methods are skyrocketing both in popularity and efficacy with today's scientific formulated advances.

The ability to wash and wax your car in minutes without damaging your gel or clear coat is simply perplexing to most auto enthusiasts. But to clear the smoke, you get the job done, easier, and faster than any traditional car wash and detailing methods. What about green earth waterless car wash technology

The waterless car wash product should have the ability to be applied in direct sunlight, on wet surfaces, and leave no "over-spray" of white dots on all of the black plastic surfaces on your vehicle. The product should also be able to make a huge impact on our environment.

The very best way to clean your vehicles is to use a waterless product as a regular vehicle maintenance routine instead of water.

In most cases using a one step waterless wash, polish, and protective glaze will do the job. Why waste time, washing, drying and waxing your vehicle when you can do it all in one pass. Simply spray, wipe, and buff and you just cleaned, polished and generally applied an Acrylic Polymer that will protect your finish from the elements and harmful UV from the Sun. Our space-age lubricants and polymers protect your finish from scratching and leaves a bond of protection that beads water for months.

Supporting products may well include an oxidation remover. It effortlessly removes all surface rust and oxidation leaving behind a beautiful shine. Removes the FOG from acrylic headlights and even oxidation and minor scuffs on painted surfaces. Gel Coat oxidation is no match either.

There's also a tire and trim cleaner which has some unique characteristics, it cleans white walls and removes brake dust. It also will leave either a "New" Matte look on your tires or a "Wet" High Gloss look on your tires. Exceptional UV protection that will last on the interior for weeks.

A bug buster 3x5 pad is used in the aircraft industry for years. Now we are blown away with how well this product works with waterless washes, when your done, your done, the protective coating is left behind.

Last but not least a well made Leather Cleaner & Conditioner which also conditions. Excellent for leather seats on motorcycles, leather boots and leather clothing. Smells just like leather too.

The transition to the waterless car washing approach and it's associated products produces a excellent green earth approach to washing and detailing your vehicles.
