Breaking the rules...
...and sometimes applying them.
This lens is mainly graphic - many photos in Polaroids and a slide show.
The photographs here both break the rules and adhere to some.
Most of these photographs I would class as close-up, very few are broad scenes. I have shot all these photos without a tripod. Some would argue a tripod is necessary for stability, but discarding stability for some interesting outcomes can yield results.
All the photos are hand held and tossed into this as a mix is slow shutter speed and hand shake. This mix can provide some interesting images that blur with moving subject material (water, people, cars etc) will give to you.
In addition, sticking to the rules - fast shutter with moving objects - will also yield excellent opportunities.
Try both.
If you are not shooting on manual yet, try it. Want more info? See my lens on the basic of photography. Essential in getting started in getting more from your camera.
Hope you enjoy the images.
