Yes, my hands sweat easily. Within 4 hours I saw a screen iPad become dirty. Many former trail my hand that makes me less comfortable to interact longer with ipad.

I bought this so my child can use the ipad, mainly because of Spills and even scratches. The iPad fits inside and the plastic sort of clings to the ipad so there are no bubbles. It protects great, A kid could spill anything and it would never do any damage. It is quite responsive through the plastic cover, and well I would highly recommend it if you are using it with kids. I don't think it would be my main cover unless I worked in a wet environment. I therefore give it 4 out of 5.

This item worked great on my cruise vacation not only from the water but also from the salt that filled the air while catching some sun. Was able to read my Nook with no problem in the carrier. Also had room to carry my camera in it also.

After looking long and hard, I finally found the DryCASE Folio a totally waterproof case for my iPad. The vacuum seal allows use of the touch screen so I can use my iPad on our boat with out having to worry about water splashing on it and shorting it out. Because I use the iPad on the boat so much, I just leave it inside the DryCASE and only open the closure to stick the charger in to juice it up. This is cheap insurance if you own an iPad!

I bought this to use my iPad in the bath. It works perfectly for this purpose. Obviously I have not completely submerged my device (not that daring) but had drops of water and splashes that wiped right off. There is a double ziplock and then folds down to have a snap cover. If I accidentally drop my iPad in water and retrieve it immediately, I think it will be safe. This was my main reason to purchase this vs the much more expensive marine model. I have not used it by the pool or beach because the glare of the iPad makes it not suitable for this purpose anyways.
