Who Is Wayne Tully? - Find Out About This Blogger And Artist Here.
So you could look at this as an online Resume or CV, call it what you will, this is a look at the life of someone who is determined to do something with their life now rather than well not!!
I'd like to take you on a journey through my life from the very beginning up until where I am now and what lies beyond...
Life As A Child and Over The Years That Followed
Things Were Ok....
I was a quiet child who would be happy drawing in a room all on his own, which I did for quite awhile, I got interested in comic books and horror films early on and this was to influence my art later on in life.
As a child I always wanted to be an astronaut or a fireman and when I grew up I was neither of these, it just seemed to much hard work at the time.
Life at Eastfield Primary school was great, in fact I secretly loved going to this first school from the age of 5 to 11, this was the best time in my life as I had lots of friends and it was a great school at the time, but that changed when I went to Sydney Smith Secondary school on the outskirts of Hessle in Hull.
The realities of learning hit me hard, as I had some learning difficulties early on that was not identified or even picked up by any teachers previously, often what was often referred to as being lazy in my approach to learning and study at the time became a dyslexic disfunction that was to blight my life and ruin my skills of interacting with other people later on in life.
My parents split up when I was about 5 years old and this could have been a contributing factor towards my social exclusion or inability to be included because I failed to talk or interact with anyone on a social level except some of my close friends at the time, it seems I could never seperate the fact that I could seem to talk to my friends, but members of my family just seemed so distanced from me that I felt sad.
My school exams came and went and this depressed me even further as I didn't remain on the same level of learning that all the other kids did at school so I failed my results quite disastrously, although I did get a grade c in art which was nice, the rest of my exam results were ultimately a failure to me and my mum at the time.
Following my awful learning experience at Sydney Smith, I then decided that I would enroll at the art college as that was the only thing that I thought I could do and make a career out of it, but this was doomed to failure too....
Half of the people who go the art course, just would have liked to have messed around the whole time and dealing with people in group settings I could not deal with at the time as I suffered panic attacks from either people taking notice or bringing me into the forefront of situations which I found hard to deal with!
So I did not last long at college and I'd say pretty much that was the end of my learning for good at the time, I was depressed, what few friends I had, I lost touch with them or fell out over stupid things, the future looked quite bleak!
I signed on for Jobseekers allowance which at the time was about £40 a week, which I'd get a fortnight and this was to be my income for over 8 years of depression and dreaming, I'd often start the day with good intentions thinking up new ideas, writing them down, then by the end of the day, I'd have drunk a full bottle of cider and all the plans would been thrown in the bin, I'd then wake up the next day and do it all again!
Things have changed now a lot, I have a family of my own that relies on me, which is nice and a huge interest in the internet as a home based business in many ways....things are looking up!
What I do online and offline By Wayne Tully
Online Work Vs Offline Work And Play
While I do like to work and do alot online, there are certain things I do offline that tend to overshadow the online internet aspects, first there is my drawings as I do loads of it when I can and where I can and often get too involved in my art and end up with my eyes tired as hell early in the morning.Second there is my writing, I do tons of it and have dedicated many notebooks to certain categories of either stories or information product ideas, I write to perfect my writing style and to become an expert in what I like to write about and be part of online and in my own area of expertise.
Also I like to spend time with my family like any dad would, this has to be placed around my online work and computer time in the evening, good time management comes into play quite often, as I need to deal with a lot of work and real life stuff like anyone else, so I plan things around a priority list that must be maintained at all times.

The Tentacle Demon Sticker (Oval)
A tentacle demon design that was drawn many years ago as a design for a soul sucking demon that never got used in my graphic novel efforts, I cleaned it up slightly and shaded it with a soft pencil.

The Mud Demon Magnet
The mud demons design is really made up from all the dirty turds in the sewers and filth you would expect to see in the streets of filthness.

Evil Demon Head Baseball Jersey
The evil demon head design was an attempt at a mask design but just ended up as yet another demon drawing that will be filed away with all the other dark and gothic art I've drawn.

There are classics that I already own and then some recent ones that I will get as time goes on.
The inspiration that film has given me in my art and writing is just simply wonderful. I love watching films that inspire and amaze with either special effects or just great acting and stories.
