Ways to Make More Money Online

Ok, the economy is bad and I'm in fear of losing my job. My worst fear is that I may lose my position and can't find a new one. Luckily, I'm not in that situation. But, I do have some family members that are in that situation. As a family, we're all pitching in to help. But, as a precaution, what can I do to help myself and my family to avoid a potentially life altering situation?

I've been programming for years as a consultant and I've always looked for ways to make more money online. What I've typically found was the only way I could make more money was to work more hours. Great, more hours. But, to what end do I stop working? As a programmer, it seems as though there is always some type of critical situation.

Anyway, I figured ther must be a solution that would allow me to make substantial income and does not require me to work night and day. I put several factors together. Among those factors were the following the new idea or prospect must include the following:

1. Work once and have it pay me forever
2. No time constraints. Why face deadlines the rest of my life
3. Not paid by the hour. If paid by the hour, that just means I have to work more hours
4. No client interface. Face it, clients are great, but I'd rather be at the beach.
5. Unlimited number of clients. For example, I don't want to spend my time looking for clients.

After a long time of research, I've finally come up with the answer. And, better yet, it allows me to work during the day (while at my full time job) and during the evening, when I'm moonlighting. The answer came to me through affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is allowing me to build a base income that continues to increase. At this time, I'm taking a class. Granted, there is a lot of information, so it is a lot easier by taking organized notes and prioritizing tasks.
