The Secret and The Law of Attraction in Six Steps
The Secret, which continues to get a lot of attention, is all about The Law of Attraction.
This is an idea that has been around in many forms, under many names, throughout human history.
What is The Law of Attraction? The Law of Attraction says that you and I shape our lives and our reality by the goals and desires that fill our heart and mind. True, but only if we feel with all of our heart that we will achieve our desires, and we are able to "see" that those things will come to us .
In this lens, I provide a concise way to apply the Law of Attraction in six steps.
In addition, I've provided an overview of a great course on The Law of Attraction, called Wealth Beyond Reason.
Wealth Beyond Reason is a rich, multimedia course in applying the Law of Attraction for wealth, health, happiness, and everyday living. It's the creation of Bob Doyle, one of the contributers to the movie The Secret.
Bob keeps adding new materials to his course, but the core of it came out long before anyone had heard of The Secret. I bought his course years ago.
When I first heard about Wealth Beyond Reason, I had a question. Why does the name of the course focus on wealth, if it's really about so much more than just money?
It's simple really. When many people think about making big changes in their lives, they think about getting more money, for money is the tool we use to follow and achieve our desires.
Try to live without money.
But the word "wealth" really means riches of all kind. Sure, money is the first thing that many people think of when they hear the word "wealth", but wealth means abundance. Abundance is feeling complete in every area of your life. It's feeling that you're not missing anything.
Wealth Beyond Reason, and The Law of Attraction, teach us that money is a great tool in getting what we want. But there is so much possibility waiting for us, and money won't buy everything.
Why settle for only money? Why not pursue money, health, relationships, personal excellence, and spiritual goals as well?
Keep reading to learn my focused, six step method. And take a look at Bob's course for a more in-depth approach and more resources to help you succeed.

Introduction to the Law of Attraction
My own summary of The Law of Attraction has 6 steps. But let's get one thing clear before we start.
This process is not something that happens in a straight line, where you start at one end and stop at the other.
It's not a process where you take one step, and never come back to it.
This process is like a spiral. A spiral is a circle that goes higher and higher. You come back to step 1 again, but with new understanding gained from your passage through the process.
You might think that the process is done when you get one thing that you asked for.
Yes and no.
There will always be changes, always be challenges, and always be more that you will want to have, do, or be. The completion of one desire, will bring you to the next stage of your life and your desires.
One desire, if it really comes from your passions, from who you are, will inevitably lead you to the next desire.
Does it sound like you'll be endlessly unsatisfied?
Far from it.
Each achievement, each desire that you bring to life will get you more connected to what you want and the life that you deserve. The gratitude and joy that you'll feel as you see your life unfolding before you will leave you astounded.

Sample Video Vision Statements on YouTube
"Journey of Change" and "The Secret of Personal Development" are my Video Vision Statements from my video channel on YouTube. My Videos are focused on who I want to be and what I want to do. Not so much on what I want to have. That's just my style.

Step 1: Discover, Uncover, and Refine Your passions
As you change, your goals and passions will change and grow. Getting clear on what your passions are is key to building and maintaining the motivation to reach your dreams.
Your list of passions isn't final, and doesn't have to be perfect, or satisfy anyone else!

Step 2: Ask for what you want!
It means to make an emotional connection to your desires.
Make them matter. Give them meaning. Feel them. Make a commitment to them.
Most of us ask for what we want with half a heart (if that), full of hesitation, and disbelief.
We almost always hedge our bets. We say to ourselves "I don't really want that", so when it fails to show up, we can say "No problem. I didn't really want it anyway."
How rarely do we turn all of ourselves toward a desire, willing to take a risk.

Overview of Wealth Beyond Reason, Bob Doyle's course on The Law of Attraction
Wealth Beyond Reason is so rich with material that when I first signed in, I was a little overwhelmed. That is, until I stopped trying to figure it out on my own, and just read the detailed step-by-step help that Bob provides.
Here's an outline of the kinds of information that's in the course. It's only an outline. Each section is filled with content.
And don't think that you have to wait to take action until you've finished reading or listening to every last resource.
Bob will you get started taking action early on. The learning you do after you've started taking action will just speed up your results.

Step 3: From blame to abundance
Imagine a dark stadium or arena, pitch black.
Then suddenly all the lights are turned on to reveal a place full of activity.
That's the feeling of making a connection to abundance.
It makes you come alive.

Step 4: Living in the future. The power of imagination
Unfortunately, we often think of imagination as a toy, something for our personal entertainment.
Nothing wrong with using it that way.
But it's like using a supercomputer as a hammer.
Imagination is an extraordinary capability that we all have which allows us to simulate the future.
Use your imagination to experience yourself in your future, full of your passionate dreams.
Imagination can make that future real and vivid to us now.

Step 5: Be grateful for what you have, and what you're asking for
Emotions are the fuel which ignites our entire being, and turns it toward the passionate goals that we're pursuring.
The more powerful the emotions you experience in relation to your goals, the more completely you will be focused on bringing those goals to life.
Ok. But why gratitude in particular? There are many emotions we can experience in relation to a goal?
The Law of Attraction is about focusing your entire self toward a goal, without hesitation, blame, or diversions.
Genuine gratitude reflects my complete acceptance of the value of something to me.
When you accept that something is of real value to you, you stop resisting it.

Fantastic lens! I would only suggest to other readers that one has to be careful in making sure that you give all the credit to God for all your successes and blessings. On Deuteronomy 8, 17-18 says:
When you become successful, don't say, "I'm rich, and I've earned it all myself." Instead, remember that the LORD your God gives you the strength to make a living. That's how he keeps the promise he made to your ancestors.
When we do that, God bless us even more abundantly.
Many blessings to all,
