Affiliate Marketing - Product/Programs Reviews & Scams

First of all...I'm not an Internet Marketing Guru and I'm not going to tell you that I am making $1000's each day (not yet)! Also, I don't have a MBA (or any other accredited degree) nor do I have a dog named Taz! However!!! With some of the Affiliate Marketing Products & Programs I've studied, Affiliate Marketing definitely looks like a lucrative online business. This is coming from me with 3 years experience with home businesses mainly within network marketing and direct sales industries.

Affiliate Marketing is truly for everyone! Many people don't enjoy the hyped up home/hotel meetings or the multiple times a day conference calls. Or calling prospects to discover their hot leads are looking for an expensive lotto ticketing hoping to just plug in and make money. Others struggle to speak with strangers (perhaps they know their products are cheaper somewhere else).

Affiliate Marketing along with other Internet Marketing techniques allows everyone to think creatively, which is FUN, to build a system once; a system that will continue to generate earnings while we all enjoy or favorite past-time. Right now I'd like to spend that time with my 5 month old baby girl.

It was on April 22, 2008 that I began reading Moonlighting On The Internet by Yanik Silver and on April 29, 2008 (exactly one week), I made my first few sales. Ever since, I've just been learning all that I can and applying what I can. You gotta read these affiliate marketing products & programs reviews!

I was first introduced to making money online with Affiliate Marketing from a member in the RichDad.com forum. Without Moonlighting On The Internet, I probably would not have given Affiliate Marketing an honest shot. Within this book, 5 world-class experts reveal proven ways to make an extra paycheck online each month including selling digitally delivered information, eBay, Yahoo! Stores & e-commerce stores, blogging and the Affiliate Marketing section written by Rosalind Gardner.

Moonlighting On The Internet provides a great introduction to each of the methods listed above, however if someone is serious about earning money online they would need other resources to guide them along the way. Rosalind Gardner's "The Super Affiliate Handbook" is another highly recommended resource that I would suggest to anyone looking to earn money online with Affiliate Marketing.

Rosalind's handbook is a comprehensive guide to making money online with Affiliate Marketing and offers a lot of solid information. It is easy to read and is designed for beginners. However with over 270 pages of information, even experienced affiliate marketers can pick up new ideas. The one drawback with this program is that you need to have a website to make it work. This can be a hurdle for someone with no knowledge of web design or a tight budget to hire a designer. Therefore I suggest enrolling in the Wealthy Affiliate University as it provides techniques to help you get started for FREE!

Earning my first few sales is an unexplainable feeling. Even though it wasn't a huge amount of money earned in my first week, just knowing that my efforts as a beginner are paying off. When I first started with WA, I was overwhelmed by the amount of information contained within my membership. It wasn't long until I felt more comfortable as their 8-Week Action plan and the forum provided a lot of guidance and friendly support! Reading through the forum's post quickly got my brain in gear and I generated a lot of ideas that I look forward to implementing in the coming weeks.
