Words that trigger...
Words that make people buy are often called copywriting trigger words by copy writers. These are words that can play with prospects to take action and buy now!
Basically, words that will make them feel happy or excited like FREE, FAST, EASY, NOW, will get people moving.
Also words that trigger the prospects emotion of FEAR will get them to take action.
This is often a fear of loss, or fear of missing out which most humans don't want to experience. Words like LIMITED, EXCLUSIVE, SALE, will prompt readers to take action before its too late and miss out.
For a more details explanation, read this post all about words that trigger at my blog.

Good idea?
Or a waste of time?
There is no doubt that adding your target keywords throughout the sales copy of your website will increase the rankings in the SERPS. This is SEO 101.
A reasonable keyword density through the text of your page is what search engines love. Not to forget adding your keywords in the pages' title and meta tags will help with SEO too.
So yes, SEO'ing your sales copy is a great idea if its search engine traffic you want.
But how many people will actually buy your product or service directly from the search engines?
Even products that come with recommendations from a trusted person or other source may convert at 5% at best most times.
To me it seems that SEO copywriting is good but a lot of the search engine traffic will be lost.
It's good for branding and perhaps free offers, and people can come back to the site easily if they remember the search term they used to find it in the first place but for a long sales page it might not be so effective.
Don't waste traffic. At least capture the leads or redirect them before they go back out to the search engine results page (SERPS).
