The first thing you have to do is buy one!!! Check out our New Webkinz with Unused Codes ! It will be hard to pick which one you will want! They are all so cute!!!

Each Webkinz stuffed animal is sold with a tag that has a Secret Code inside that is unique to that specific pet.

Go to www.webkinz.com to adopt your pet!

Click on the New Member button and follow the prompts to adopt your pet! You get to choose the name for your pet and decide if you want the pet to be a boy or girl!!

Once you have entered the code you will be given a profile of your pet that gives you your pet's Birthday, a little bit about what they like, who their best friend is, their favorite food and what toy they would really like to have! You will also receive an adoption certificate. You can print both of these!

During this process you will also have to choose a member name along with a password for your account.

Once the adoption process is complete you will see your new pet in their new Webkinz World room along with a present for them to open that contains cool items specifically designed for that pet!!! You also get Kinzcash for each pet that you adopt.

Now you are ready to play with your pet!! You can go to the W-Shop and buy them food, clothing, furniture for their room or whatever your heart desires!!!

Adopting a Webkinz Pet is a lot of fun!! It also teaches children to be responsible as well!! Each pet has to be fed and kept healthy.

Here is some things you can do to keep your pet healthy!

A. Keep your pet fed!!! Each pet has their own specific "treat" that you can buy in the W-Shop that is specially made for that pet. Those treats tend to be more expensive so you should reserve those for special treats!! Your pets should eat lots of fruits and vegetables!!! You can even plant a garden in an outdoor room and grow your own veggies!!! But if you are buying food then the hamburger, hotdog and chicken nuggets give you the best bang for your kinzcash buck! They will fill your pet without breaking the bank!!

B. Keep your pet clean!! It is fun to give a Webkinz Pet a bath!!! You can purchase a bath tub in the W-Shop. Put your pet in the tub and you can add bubbles, give them their rubber duckie, wash their hair and rinse them clean!! Not only does it make your pet happy but it is fun to do!!! You can also buy a sink in the W-Shop and with it you can brush their teeth, wash their face and brush their hair!!

C. Exercise your pet!! Like all pets, Webkinz Pets like to exercise and play too!! There are lots of great things for them to do!! You can buy a pool for them to swim in at the W-Shop. Some pets may come with a treadmill or a trampoline too!

D. Make sure your pet gets some sleep!! Your pet requires a lot of rest so a good tip is to remember to put your pet to bed before logging out of Webkinz World.

E. Sometimes when you log on your pet might have a ice pack on their head, a thermometer in their mouth and they might not look so good!! This means they are sick and need to go to the doctors! When you take your pet to the clinic Dr. Quack will check your pet over and tell you what is wrong with them. They may just need some more rest, or they could have a sore throat!! In this case you might have to buy some medicine for your pet and the Doctor will advise you to feed it popsicles to help their throat!

Things you can do once you have adopted your pet!

You can have a lot of fun in Webkinz World! It is not only fun but it is educational!!!

Things to do:

Go SHOPPING!! You can shop in the W-Shop for all kinds of things for your pet!! You can buy them cool clothing, furniture and decorations for their rooms along with their favorite foods!!!

When building a room you can choose out of three different sizes (all different prices) of indoor rooms or one size of an outdoor room!!!

Indoor rooms: You can pick out floor colors, wall color or wallpaper to start with!! You can make your room just a kitchen or just a bedroom or bathroom! It is all up to you!!! You can even buy the biggest room and combine all of them into one room for your pet!!! There are plants to buy, interactive items such as blenders, stoves, TV's, bathtubs, and sinks!! You can store stuff in refrigerators, dressers and chests!! You can add windows, lamps and wall hangings to personalize your room!!!

Outdoor rooms: Outdoor rooms can be a lot of fun! You can buy seeds in the W-Shop and grow your own veggies!!! Put in a pool so your pet can exercise or just plant a bunch of flowers for your pet to enjoy! It is all up to you!!!!!

Clothing: Each pet can be dressed!!! You will have a choice of hats, bows, wigs, sunglasses, tops bottoms, shoes and more!! Each pet is unique with an unique style!!!

Food: There are all sorts of goodies to buy for your pet in the W-Shop. You can store food in their refrigerator or mix items together with special recipes to make other things with your blender and stove!!!

Arcade: There are a gagillion games that you can play in the Arcade!! Each will help you to earn Kinzcash so that you can buy the things your pets need! You can also participate in tournaments with most of the games to earn even more Kinzcash!!!

Get a job: In the employment office you can apply for a job!! You have to go to Quizzie's Corner though and answer questions on different subjects to be qualified to do some jobs!!

Go to school: You can attend the Academy and sign your pet up for courses in all sorts of things to earn badges!!!

Chat: Go to the club house to chat with other members. Ganz has made their chat program as safe as they possibly can by only allowing chat with the comments that they have programmed in so there is no way to give out personal information or for someone to say anything they want to another user.

Feature Plus Codes: Webkinz also has other items such as Charms, Carriers, Clothing, Beauty Items, Book Marks, Mouse Pads and more that have Feature Plus Codes. You get special gifts with these items. Such as with the Charms you can go in the Charm Forest to get special items!!! The Beauty Items you get gifts that you can use to create a beauty parlor!

Sending mail: You can send mail and gifts to your friends!! Of course everything is pre written so that no personal information can be exchanged!

Daily Activities: Every day there is a set of activities that you can do to earn Kinzcash for your pet!! There are also hourly activities for bonus things and bonus Kinzcash!

Each day you should check out Art's Curio Shop!! One of the first things you need to do is get on Art's good side!! The Curio Shop is where you will do your Gem Hunting and where you can purchase Rare Items.

With Art there are six levels of friendship and you can tell what level you are on by what he says to you when you go into his shop!!

The first time you enter the shop he will say "Welcome to the Curio Shop. Hope you find what you are looking for." The best way to get him to like you is to first of all tip him every day. You can choose the amount that you want to tip him up to 100 Kinzcash. Usually 100 Kinzcash is the best if you can afford it. You should try to buy an item from his shop every day too. It will take him a while to warm up to you but you can tell where you stand by what he says!!!

2. "Welcome back. See if you can find a bargain."
3. "Hey, welcome Back, if you see something you like, let me know"
4. "Good to see you again. Have fun shopping"
5. "Ahh, one of my favorite customers. Let's see what I can do for you"
6. "There you are! Always great to see you, my shop is your shop."

Around the fifth stage, Art will start giving you hints about the time frame when the rare items will be available. When you hit the sixth stage he will tell you what time they will be available.

The Curio shop is also the place to find the mines to do your Gem hunting. You can hunt for gems once a day. You can either just collect the gems, after all they are quite pretty, sell the gems to Arte or you can collect them in hope of exchanging one of each for the coveted Webkinz Crown of Wonder. You will have a Gem Box in the Curio Shop to keep your gems. The gems are arranged by colors and levels of rarity. The more rare the gem the more Arte will offer you for it. The only problem with selling the rare gems that you find, it will be very difficult to find them again, so if you are going for the Crown of Wonder then it is best to keep the higher level gems.

Each day you can go in to go gem mining, but remember you only have three chances in the mine of finding a gem. Arte will tell you what the "Gem of the Day" is. If you find this gem, he will offer more for it than he usually does.

So how do you go about finding the gems?? Well, it isn't easy but each mine only carries certain gems. While we can't point you to an exact place for a gem, you have to take your chances and hope you don't find a slag, we can point you in the right direction if you are looking for a specific gem or color of gems.

Here is a list that can give you an idea of where you may find the specific gem you are looking for. Remember it isn't for certain that you will get that gem when you go in that specific mine. You only have three chances at a time, once a day to find the gem you are looking for!!!!

Education
Webkinz has more educational value than most adults think! Children are taught responsibility by taking care of their pet's needs such as food, exercise and playtime. It also gives them a feel of what it is like to want something and having to work for or save the money that they need.
Many of the games are also educational and teach valuable skills such as problem-solving, hand-eye coordination, recognizing and remembering patterns and matching skills.
