Writing Websites Take Many Forms
This lens is a collection of links to websites owned by writers. They are organized according to the style of web design used and site elements included.
This lens is a teaching tool intended for use by participants in my workshop for writers, Creating An Impressive Writing Website.
From reviewing hundreds of writing websites I have learned that every website has lessons to share. Look at them, make your own judgments, and learn what makes a writing website great.
Many sites fit into more than one category, but I've placed them as examples in only one section each.
Please keep in mind that I haven't put these here because I think they are the best examples. Some are; some aren't... but I believe every site has something to teach us about creating a writing website.
How to use this page
I suggest that as you look through these sites you take notes on site features you like and want to include on your own website. You might also want to make notes on things that don't work for you, that you're planning to avoid.
