Wedding Planing On a Budget, a "complete wedding planning blueprint", written by Crystal Spring was very recently published. I have obtained a copy and wish to share my review. I am warning you- I will give you a completely honest opinion and everything may not be positive.
Wedding Planning on a Budget-The Good Stuff
This guide gives you great ideas on how to save money on everything from invitations to catering to your wedding dress. It contains a step by step plan to budgeting and planning. Crystal also gives you tips for negotiating with wedding vendors. This is definitely a helpful book.
Wedding Planning on a Budget-the Not So Good Stuff
This is not a "complete blueprint", this is great for ideas, but please don't rely solely on this book. It is good for tips and hints, but I would get something more thorough.
I was disappointed in something that wasn't even in the book-it was on the sales page. I'm not entirely sure if Crystal meant it to be this way, but this is the opening quote:
"Discover An Ex-Wedding Planner's Secret Tactics For Planning A Luxury
Wedding On A Miniscule Budget"
It sounds like the ex-wedding planner wrote the book, right? Well, Crystal is not the ex-wedding planner if you read the entire page, she watched what her wedding planner did and spoke to her to get information. So this book is not written by an ex-wedding planner but has input from one.
