I know that some people believe that it is not traditional for a bride to make a speech on her wedding day, in fact even my husband here believes that. You really would have thought he'd have learn by now, that I always have the last say! However (Groom's name), just in case you ever do want to have the last say, just remember it's 'Yes darling, anything you want.'

Well, firstly I just want to thank you all for being here, after all not many people have to pay over 1000pnds to come to a wedding. Yet, here you all are in Cuba & all I can say is 'It's my wedding day & I honestly couldn't think of a better group of people to share it with.'

I'd also like to thank my mum & Dad - cos they've put up with a lot of shit over the years. Still, they've always stood by me, supporting every crazy idea, notion, phase & stage I've gone through, in fact my mum has often put my happiness before her own, in doing this. Well, I can honestly say that together they've managed to make me the woman I am today & I like to think that they can sit here quite proud of that fact I think I speak for both (Groom's name) & myself when I say - they've not only been parents - they've been friends.

Love you Mom and Dad I would also like to thank my mother-in-law,(Groom's parents name) (who I know will be looking down on us today), because quite simply, without them - well there wouldn't be (Groom's name), and I wouldn't be stood here quite so happy today. I'd probably be in a pub, pissed somewhere, but that's another story.

And last but by no means least, I'd like to thank my husband, (Groom's name), who has made me the happiest girl alive today. Over the last 5 years, (Groom's name) has been everything to me - my partner, my best friend, my soul mate, my drinking partner, clubbing partner & backpacking companion - not to mention my chauffeur, my cleaner & my butler! And here he stands today - my husband!
As you all know - we've had a fantastic 5 years together & I know we're going to have a fantastic lifetime together, and I for one am going to drink to that for the rest of my life, so all that is left to say is - (glasses raised) - LET THE DRINKING COMMENCE!

Bride Wedding Speeches- Beautiful Words for a Beautiful Occasion!

You are all about to witness a unique event in history. The very first and very last time that the Wife is going to let me speak on behalf of both of us. It is a privilege and an honor to do so. I just hope that, so soon into our married life, I don't let Dawn down .

Well to start with we would like to say a big thank you to everyone here today .Thank you all for choosing to share today with us . I know that this is meant to be our day ,but of course it wouldn't be as special a day if it wasn't for all our friends and family being here with us. So once again a big thank you to you all and thank you so much for all the wonderful cards and gifts .

Of course the biggest thank you of the day has to go to our respective parents and newly formed in laws. We would like to thank them for all their help and contribution in making this day everything we could have dreamed of. Thanks to (Bride's mother name) for all her hard work and effort that she has put in making the cake and all the flowers

I would personally like to thank (Bride's parents name) for bringing up such a lovely daughter and thank you both for making me feel so welcome in your family. I am an incredibly shy person, but you have made it very easy for me to fit in and I hope I can be everything you want from a son-in-law and more.

I would really like to thank my mum and dad , who should undoubtedly receive a medal for endurance. They have always loved and supported me through every stage of my life. So thanks mum and dad for all the love and guidance you've given, and I hope I can make you as proud of me as I am of you.

So for both our mums and dads - we have a gift as a token of our thanks.

I would like to thank (Best man's name) for agreeing to be my best man , whom I know and worked for years and now he has been and will continue to be a great friend . He so far helped the day run smoothly and as I said before I couldn't have asked more of a best man .We have of course got you a gift to say thank you but I have to keep hold of it until I have heard your speech , oh all right then a big round of applause for my best man.

The one person in the room to which I owe the most thanks, is (Bride's name). Firstly thanks for all your efforts in co-ordinating our big day. Your creativity, attention to detail and preparation was outstanding and you should take most of the credit for what has been an incredible day. I am sure you will all agree how stunning she looks today and nothing could have prepared me for what I saw when you walked down that aisle today . Thank you for marrying me and making me the happiest and proudest man in the world today , I don't have to hope that our future together will be a happy one, I KNOW it will be . As (Bride's name) will tell you - I'm often wrong, but in marrying you, I know I've made the right decision.

Groom Wedding Speeches- Saying the Right Words at the Right Time!

Before starting the one speech that I know you've all been waiting for, I'd like to thank (Groom) To give me the honor to be the Best Man. It's great to be involved on the happiest day of his life

And I'd also like to propose a toast to the bride's parents , for hosting what so far has been an absolutely fantastic wedding. It can't have been easy watching your only daughter marry someone

I would also like to propose a toast to the beautiful bridesmaids you really have done a fantastic job - especially getting(Bride's name) to the castle

It is with great pride that I take this role as best man on today, when I first started donating %u0660 a month to the albinos with freckles charity a few years ago, I received a photograph and regular updates about (Groom), I didn't imagine that I would have the honor of being his best man.

What I did eventually find on Internet that there was this glorious venue is enriched in history, it was built over 700 years ago and famous visitors include Robert Bruce and King James VI. In fact, right in the corner of the Keep there's an old underground escape passage that takes you right out of the castle%u2026 its true! It's the corner (Bride's name) was repeatedly glancing at during the ceremony...

Where to start?I met (Groom's name) at school and he's been a great friend of mine over the last 20 years or so that I've known him. I've watched him grow from a cheeky, pasty, freckly teenager into a cheeky, pasty, freckly adult.

(Groom's name) and I didn't always get on - I remember times when I would call (Groom's name) 'ginger', he would call me 'big ears', and we would both run home crying. But sure enough, the next day, (Groom's name) would email me from work and we would make up. Now of course he's very successful. (Groom's name) work colleagues invariably described him as a 'first class banker', although I may have misheard them since we all know he works in mortgages.

I feel very lucky to have (Groom's name) as a friend. He's an exceptional person and is now getting some of the success he thoroughly deserves - not least of which was meeting(Bride's name). I'm sure you'll all agree that she looks absolutely stunning today.

When I first met(Bride's name) my impression was of a beautiful, witty, charming, clever, friendly and thoughtful person. But she soon ruined this by agreeing to marry (Groom's name).

Just look at them, their love still seems so pure and simple,(Bride's name) so pure, (Groom's name) so simple.

All kidding aside, when I asked (Groom's name) what he was looking for in marriage, he said love, happiness and eventually a family. When I asked(Bride's name) the same question, she said an intelligent, loving, handsome man - but that she''d happily settle for (Groom's name).

For those of you expecting outrageous stories about (Groom's name)'s past, the truth is I was with him for most of them and I wouldn't want to ruin my impeccable reputation.

(Groom's name), I''d like to leave you with this single piece of advice. First for the Bride, never go to bed angry---always stay up and argue. Second for the Groom, always remember those three magic words that will keep your marriage strong and your wife by your side---You're right, dear.

So to finish, can I say best of luck to you both I really am absolutely delighted for both of you. I hope you have a long and happy future together.
