I´m Marco, an Italian professional wedding planner focused on destination Weddings in Italy. I have been organizing dozens of Weddings in Italy since year 2000 and I realized that often bride&groom do not have enough information to decide what is the ideal locations for their Big Day. This lens has the ambition to describe what are the peculiarity of the most common Italy wedding locations.

- Lake District.There are a few wonderful lakes in North of Italy (in azure). From West to East: Lake Como, Lake Orta, Lake Maggiore, Lake Garda.
- Verona and Venice (orange spots)
- Italian Riviera (in red)
Center of Italy:
- Tuscany and Chianti (in green)
- Florence(orange spot inside Tuscany)
- Rome(orange spot South of Tuscany)
- Sardinia island (in yellow)
South of Italy
- Amalfi Coast (in blue)with the wonderful Sorrento, Positano, Ravello, Capri.
- Sicily (in brown)

- Beach - Sardinia and Sicily

Best time of the year
Probably August is not best choice for Amalfi Coast, and I would avoid Chianti in November....
What is the best season for a wedding in Italy. Difficult to say because Italy is so different and in each season there is your perfect Italian location!

- February:an Italian art city like Verona, Venice, Rome, Florence or Milan
- March: Amalfi Coast, Sicily or an Italian art city like Verona, Venice, Rome, Florence, Milan
- April: Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Sardinia, or an Italian art city
- May:whatever location you choose will be a good choice :-)

- July:Italian Riviera, Lake District, Tuscany, Rome
- August:Lake District, Tuscany, Rome
- September:whatever location you choose will be a good choice
- October:Italian Riviera, Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Sardinia, an art city
- November: an Italian art city like Verona, Venice, Rome, Florence or Milan
- December: an Italian art city like Verona, Venice, Rome, Florence or Milan
