The Transformers
Sam Witwicky, a high school student buys his first car to impress a girl, a classic movie preface. The car turns out to be the Autobot Bumblebee. Sam and his girlfriend Mikaela Banes are defended by Bublebee from the Decepticons as the robotic battle for good vs. evil begins on Earth.
My Review: Why I hate Transformers
in 100 words or less!

If you like great special effects, an all star cast and a movie with bad acting, a terrible plot and one of the most annoying lead actors ever filmed, then Transformers is the movie for you. The star of the movie, Shia LaBeouf, was truly agonizing to watch. He has to be one of the worst lead actors I have ever seen.

Horrible effects, the robots just looked stupid, especially when transforming. There supposed to fit together, at least make that illusion. Most unimaginative rip off plot full of cheesy scenes that you had to have seen before. Worst line in any movie in history, when they have the cube in Hoover dam and the Decepticons arrive they say: "Lets go hide it in the city". The Secretary of Defense agrees. So after a magical 5 minute chase through all of California they end up in Las Angeles, a place where lots of collateral damage can happen. Ignoring the fact they were less then 30 minutes East of Las Vegas, why would you bring an alien robot army to a freaking city?

Autobots scaning all of the internets to find a jpeg of the aforementioned incredibly intricate coordinates? Giving the "cube" to Shia so that he can try to outrun all of the decepticons? WHAT?! Aside from the FX, there is nothing noteworthy about this movie. Nobody's performance stood out. The actors seemed very bored, unenthusiastic and just went through the motions of it all. What do you get when you combine bad direction, writing, and acting? Five Sequels! Nicely done, America.

This movie was great! Action, romance, comedy - it's got it all. One of my fave parts was when Sam's Dad drove him through the Porsche dealership. Keep dreaming kid! :)

The movie is great! Action packed, superb graphics/video, interesting enough for all audience types both young and old. Loved the move. My friends and I have seen it probably 7 or 8 times already. Will watch it again. This movie is worth owning a copy!
