Weight Lose Programs: Which Ones Are Legit?
There are also many different weight loss programs available, some good and some bad. This lens will talk about what works and what doesn't work. The main point to remember is that it does you no good to have a weight loss book or watch a fitness TV show if you are not going to implement the strategies being recommended!
What Does It Take To Lose Weight?

Let's compare some of the latest crazes when it comes to Weight Lose Programs and talk about the pros and cons of each:
1. EATING LOW CARB: Most people have at least tried a low carb diet, such as the Atkins diet. These diets do not work. These kinds of diets are too restrictive, hard to sustain, and make your life miserable as your body does not function properly without carbs causing headaches, irritability and loss of sleep. You can actually gain weight after going off these diets.
2. LOW FAT DIETS: These diets are deceptive in that all of the supposed low fat foods are higher in calories and sugar. Therefore, you can actually gain weight! Also, your brain needs some fat to function!
3. STARVATION: Starving yourself will only lead to heartache in the end as your metabolism shuts down and your body needs nutrients. Your body NEEDS nutrition. You have to feed your body to lose weight!
4. PRE-PACKAGED DIETS: Can you say BORING?!?! These foods are packed with preservatives and chemicals to increase shelf life. Plus, they cost a LOT. You can expect to spend upwards of $400+ each month and that does not include your fruits and vegetables that need to go with your meals! Plus, most of the foods taste terrible or too salty to make up for the loss of flavor.
5. HOLLYWOOD/CELEBRITY DIETS: Why do people fall for the crazy celebrity diets? This is not reality, not healthy and not sustainable. And, unless you have the ability to airbrush yourself, you cannot get the celebrity look even with the best fitness regime.
