Weight Loss Programs with their Own Food

There are two major well-known weight loss programs that include food that you mail order from the company -- Medifast and NutriSystem. While Medifast is a true "meal replacement" program because it substitutes shakes for regular food, NutriSystem doesn't quite fall into the same cateogory. The reason I include it here though is it is a "shopping for meals replacement" since you buy your food for the program direct from NutriSystem and not from the supermarket.

The problem with trying to decide what meal replacement weight loss program to join is that they usually require that you spend upfront for a month's worth of food. Since you have no idea what it tastes like, it's an awful lot of money to spend if you're not sure whether you'll even be able to choke it down or not. There's a simple solution though and it's called -- EBAY!

Use Ebay to start your next diet

Yes, that's right. I said next diet, because I know what it's like. There's never just one. If you're thinking about trying Medifast, Nutrisystem, Optifast or any other diet program which includes its own food and/or meal replacements or other products, you can take any of them for a test drive just by winning an auction or two on Ebay.

The advantage is that you won't have to buy a full month's worth of food only to decide it tastes horrible and usually you can pick the food up a lot cheaper.

You could even just continue using Ebay instead of ever buying from the program directly because there are always sellers who have finished the diet, abandoned the diet or hated the diet who are trying to get rid of their stash.
