Surprisingly enough, there apparently is no right answer to this question. Everyone's body is different; shape, height, thickness, thinness, density, muscle-mass, and so on.
But there is something that is important in determining whether you are underweight, ideal, overweight or obese...Body Mass Index or BMI.

Based on your BMI you can be classified as being underweight, having a normal weight, overweight or obese.
Here's the BMI classifications:
Underweight - BMI is greater than 18.5
Normal weight - BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9
Overweight - BMI is between 25 and 29.9
Obese - BMI equals to or is greater than 30

- Only your doctor can tell you what your best weight is, as this depends heavily on your body's make-up and your medical history. You are young, so do not stress weight. Now would be a good time for you to explore healthier meal options with your family and get involved in some physical activity, but otherwise do not stress. Remember, it's not so much about your weight, but about leading a healthy lifestyle all around.

- In today's society, there are many people dealing with the stress of how much they should weigh according to their actual height & age. The media's depiction of what's acceptable and our own critical views can alter our ability to lose weight. If I had a dime for every time someone negatively compared themselves to a magazine or TV personality I would have enough money to surgically remove every pound of fat that they complain about. The fact is that everyone has a completely different body weight index that coincides with their height and age. One must first realize this before he/she can even begin to conquer their insecurities. Usually, finding out our intended weight is as simple as going to a doctor for a routine physical. And these days, there are affordable scales that can measure these types of things.
