Real solutions for weight loss.

    Weight loss, What is it? Well lets first say that weight loss doesn't happen over night. And it sure doesn't come in a bottle. And believe me I've tried a few of those so called mircle weight loss cures and paid the price with one of them I won't name names but it sent my heart into a frenzy I started having heart palpations and a racing heart beat. I tried crazy diet fades like the cabbage soup diet. YuCk! And well then it happen something that changed my life.

   Over 8 years ago when I pregnant with my first daughter I gained almost 100lbs with this pregnancy. I was just so happy to be pregnant that I really didn't even think about what was happening to my body. Well the baby came and she was beautiful and at first I didn't think about the weight that didn't go away after her birth. Being a mom was all consuming, and very tiring. so I tried that nightmare of a diet pill that was all the rage and on T.V. it didn't work, I tried the soup diet, it didn't work, I even tried fasting, that only makes you want food even more. LOL..I was trying everything but nothing was working. But my heart was still acting crazy. So when my daughter was about 3 I was really concerned about the health of my heart. And my weight which at the time was 180lbs. Not the 145 that I weight before my daughter was born and I wasn't all that fit then either. So my doctor had some heart test done and it came back as heart palpations and MVP (mitro valve prolapse) Neither of which were of a great concern and I still don't know to this day if the diet pills caused the heart palpations but I won't touch another again.

  The Really bad news was my cholosteral was 266. That terrified me, I wanted to live, I wanted to be healthy and I wanted to be there for my family. So I studied everything that I could find on being healthly and making healthy eating choices.

  And you know it really is about a permant change. You have to change what you eat for life not just till you lose weight. No pill will get you there and no fade diet will keep it off. You have to change for life.

Can you do it? I did and I lost over 55 lbs in just a little over 2 months and I keep it off for over 3 years till I had my second daughter. Now I'm going to put my belief where my mouth is and do it again. During my pregnancies I gain weight no matter what I eat, this time it was 40lbs. And now I have 15 to get off and I will, because I tell everyone else how to do it and no one listens because changing your life is hard but it will work. And I will prove it..

   The first time around after my first daughter, My doctor was amazed at how fast the weight came off and my total cholosteral was 156 after that. And it was really simple I was out shopping every week for new clothes. I had the most energy ever. I felt better than I did in high School.

   You really have to be strick about what you eat.

 1. NO SUGAR....ONLY NATURAL SUGAR ,FRUITS AND SO FORTH NO CANDY, NO POP AND NO CAKE OR DONUTS. NO SUGAR MEANS NO SUGAR.

2. NO SALT.....THAT MEANS DON'T ADD IT TO YOUR COOKING OR TO YOUR FOOD ITS JUST NOT GOOD FOR YOU...

3. NO BREAD...BY THIS I MEAN NO SLICED BREAD, NO BUNS, NO BAGELS, NO MUFFINS. YOU GET THE IDEA....YES CEREAL IS OKAY...

4. NO BUTTER, NONE DON'T ADD IT TO YOUR VEGGIES NONE NOT A SINGLE PAT OF BUTTER.

5. YOU MUST DRINK WATER LOTS OF WATER.( I USED TO DRINK ONE GALLON OF WATER A DAY, THAT IS SPREAD OUT OVER THE DAY DON'T KILL YOURSELF AND DRINK IT ALL AT ONCE.)

6. NO POP, SODA, COLA WHAT EVER YOU CALL IT, ONLY WATER OR MILK WITH BREAKFAST.

7. EAT LOTS OF FISH AND CHICKEN I EAT RED MEAT ONLY ONCE A WEEK.

8. Eat a high fiber breakfast.

PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE YOU DO ANY LIFE CHANGES SUCH AS DIET OR EXERCISE. I DON'T WANT ANYONE HURTING THEMSELVES.

 

AND YOU NEED TO EXERCISE 30 MINUTES A DAY AT LEAST 5 DAYS A WEEK.

  After I had lost all the weight my husband came across a great book called "eating for life" it too has some of the same ideas I wish I found it before I did all my own research it would have saved me a lot of time.

Don't forget to exercise!I used to work out at the GYM alot, but I found out that swimming is just as effective and a lot more revigorating. Highly recommend.
