The protein shake is THE MOST IMPORTANT ingredient to the weightloss recipe in the program. Trust me, these shakes suppress hunger, meaning you don't need those chocolate bars as snacks anymore during the mid hours. I drink one glass of protein shake in the morning and I don't feel the need to grab a cereal bar from the vending machine in between classes. I love how these shakes can control hunger and allow me to feel good about myself at the end of each day. The program mainly consists of 2 shakes and 1 meal a day. Who is not a big fan of pills? Yeah I know, most people aren't. At first I was skeptical about these pills. I thought, "Yeah sure Total Control! This is not for me." My mom encouraged me to take them, and after so many times I refused, she never gave up. I knew she wanted to help me. She knew what I was going through (the typical teenage story of wanting to "fit in" and belong to social groups). She showed me a video of weightloss success stories, much more extreme than what I was going for (I saw people who literally lost over a hundred pounds). I was inspired and thought that I was lucky enough to have everything I need for my journey in weightloss. I was provided the protein shakes, the soy nuts, and the total control pills. All that was left was for me to make that choice to change myself, as I've always said, take that first step.

I didn't wait another day. I immediately got started on the program with positive thoughts in mind: "If they can do it, so can I." And surely, after that first day, I indeed noticed some changes. More energy(seriously, I would wake up in the morning for school and don't feel sluggish at all...that was a first!), no more cravings, and most importantly, the feeling of being fully satisfied after a meal(there was no need for seconds)!!!
