1) Know Your Tolerance For Risk

Are you "all in" or is this just a test run? Here is a question that you need to ask yourself before entering any trade. Make sure you clearly define how much of your overall bankroll you are willing to risk on any given transaction. This could be anywhere from 25% to 100% of your seed money. Although, here I should mention it's strongly recommended that you never put ALL your money on one single trade. Even if it's the trade of the century, things can, and will go sour at some point. So, you want to make sure that even if you take a loss, you can still live to trade another day (this also ties in with the first tip). Staying in the game is the goal because you can't make money if you lose it all.

3) Implement A Trading System

This is the single most important step you can take as trader. If you really want to earn extra money in FOREX investing, then you have to have a trading system in place.
