Stop eating when you feel full. That might mean you leave lots left on your plate, but if your brain is telling your stomach that it's full, then stop, you've had enough.Have you ever tried a sauna? It's good for you! As well as making you perspire which helps to eliminate toxins and impurities from your body, the increased blood flow to your extremities due to the high heat can help areas that have poor blood flow. Inhalation of steam in a sauna can help with respiratory problems too. If you suffer from heart problems, check with your doctor before you have a sauna.
One pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories. To lose weight and stay healthy you should aim to lose no more than 1 to 2 lbs a week. This way you're much more likely to keep the weight off once you reach your goal. Try swapping high calorie foods for lower calorie alternatives. Here are a few examples -
Swap whole milk for half fat or reduced fat milk
ice cream for sorbet or frozen yoghurt
cheese sauce on pasta for tomato sauce.
