Men now, chasing their dreams, head towards the Grand Line.
The world now enters a Great Age of Pirates.
This is the opening from the first episodes of One Piece.
Finding and claiming this treasure, called One Piece, will grant you the title of Pirate King.
So we follow Luffy and his pirate crew on their adventures.
This lens is mostly about characters from One Piece.
NOTE: If you haven't watched alot of One Piece yet, be advised that there is a possibility of some spoilers on this Lens. Of course depending on how far you are with the Series.
Monkey D. Luffy
Captain. Wants to become Pirate King
As a kid Luffy was friends with the legendary redhaired pirate Shanks and his crew. Luffy wanted to join Shanks' crew more than anything. To show his worthiness to Shanks, Luffy stabbed himself under his left eye, which explains his scar.Once while Shanks wasnt paying attention Luffy ate a Gomu Gomu no Mi(Rubber Devil's Fruit). Which made him the Gomu Gomu man he is today.
When Shanks left to go to Grand Line, he gave Luffy his straw hat.
This straw hat is represents of Luffy's dream of becoming Pirate King.

Roronoa Zoro
Swordsman. Wants to become the greatest swordman in the world
As a kid Zoro was trained as a swordsman. One of his fellow students was a girl called Kuina, she and him made a pact of competing who would become the strongest swordsman in the world. When Kuina died Zoro vowed to become the greatest swordsman for her.Kuinas old Katana(sword) represents Zoros dream.
Roronoa Zoro has a very special three sword fighting style.
Nami
Navigator. Wants to map out the whole world
As a kid Nami lived with Bellemere, who took care of her like she was her own daughter. One day the island they lived on got seized by Arlong and his Pirate crew. The pirates demanded taxes in exchange of keeping everyone alive. When Bellemere came up short, Arlong shot her.After that Nami made a contract with Arlong, that she would have to join his crew in exchange for being able to buy the island free of the pirates. So Nami started a career as a navigator, map drawer and thief.
She despises all pirates.
Mikans(mandarins) represent Namis dream. They remind her of Bellemere, who had a mikan field.
Usopp
Marksman. Wants to be the best sharpshooter in the world
Usopp lived in a small village where he played pirates with three boys, Usopp's dream was to form his own pirate crew to become like his father Yasopp, who he never knew. After meeting Luffy, Usopp finds out that his farther is a sharpshooter in Shanks crew.Usopp is known to be a pathologic liar. He is an inventer and sharpshooter in Luffy's crew.
His dream of being the best sharpshooter in the world is represented by his goggles.
Sanji
Cook. Wants to go to 'All Blue'
As a child he worked as a bust boy on a ship, when the legendary pirate Red Leg Zeff boarded it. When a storm swept Sanji off into the sea, Zeff went after him to save him.Zeff build a floating restaurant called Baratie, where Sanji worked and learned his cooking skills.
He likes girls and falls in love with all he sees. His fighting technique is only kicks.
His dream is to go to the legendary ocean known as 'All Blue' where, rumor has it, fish from all the oceans swim.
Tony Tony Chopper
Doctor. Wants to be best doctor in the world
Chopper is from Drum, the island of doctors.Chopper is a reindeer with a blue nose, who ate a Devil's Fruit of the Zuan family, which gave him human abilities. He was abandoned by his fellow reindeer due to his blue nose, which is why he ate the Devil's fruit to become like a human, but humans saw him as a monster and hunted him. Chopper was very lonely, until Doctor Hiruluk took him in and taught him how to be a doctor.
After Doctor Hiruluk's suicide, Doctor Kureha took Chopper in, to honor Hiruluk's wishes.
Nico Robin
Archaeologist. Wants to find the Poneglyph
At the age of 8 a reward of 79.000.000 Beli was put on Robin, the rumor has it that she destroyed an entire Marine fleet singlehandedly.When we first meet Robin she is Ms. AllSunday member of Barouqe Works, a crew led by Crocodile, who Luffy fought on Alabasta. After taking out Crocodile, Luffy saved Robin from being crushed under a collapsing building.
She too has the powers of a Devil's Fruit.
Robin was the sole survivor of a Buster Call upon her home island of Ohara. Ohara was an island known for its archaeologists, they secretly studied and searched for the Poneglyph, which is said to hold the secret to a weapon that could destroy the world. It is a crime against the World government to search for this weapon, so when the Marines found out that the archaeologists of Ohara was searching for the Poneglyph they placed the Buster Call on them. The year after, Ohara was erased from all maps.
Going Merry
Ship.
The Going Merry is the Straw Hat Pirates' ship. Given to them by Kaya, a girl Usopp used to tell stories from outside her window. Favorite Character

Devil's Fruit
Description
A Devil's Fruit, or Fruit of the Sea Devil, is a special type of fruit which gives you special powers, like Luffy's Gomu Gomu powers. The downside of haven eaten Devil's Fruit is that you can't swim, you are like a rock in water. Also known as a 'Hammer'.There are different Devil's Fruit families like Zuan-Type Fruits which is the kind Chopper ate, to mix human and animal features. The other families are Paramecia Fruits, most common and the kind Luffy ate, and Logia Fruits, which will transform a person into a mixture of human and a natural element.
Portgas D. Ace 'Fire Fist'
Crew: White Beard Pirates
Ace is Luffy's older brother, Ace left the village three years priar to Luffy. Ace also has the power of a Devil's Fruit, he ate the Mera Mera Fruit(Flame Flame), a logia type fruit which has earned him the nickname 'Fire Fist'. Ace is a second in command of the notorious White Beard Pirates. Vivi Nefertari
Former Crew Member / Princess of Alabasta
When we first meet Vivi she is Ms. Wednesday in Barouqe Works. But she is really undercover to try to find out what Crocodile's plans are.The reason for Vivi's great concern about Alabasta comes from the fact that she is the daughter of the King.
Vivi rightfully suspects Crocodile to want to do a hostile takeover of Alabasta and turn it into criminal haven.
After Luffy and the crew gets rid of Crocodile and Barouqe Works, Vivi stays on Alabasta.
Koby
Wants to become a Marine
Koby was onboard the pirateship which pulled a barrell, that Luffy was hiding in, out of the water. The Captain of the ship was the feared Alvida Ironclub, who had taken Koby to be a servant on the ship, when Koby by mistake had gotten in a boat headed for the pirateship, and not to go fishing as he had thought.After meeting with Luffy, he decides to follow his dream of becoming a Marine.
Koby is training to become a Marine with Helmeppo, the son of Captain Morgan.
