The Simpsons is one of the funniest shows on television and the longest running TV Series ever. Created in 1989 and airing over 400 episodes, the Simpsons is an animated television series about the antics of a (dys)functional family called The Simpsons (imagine that). Homer is the overwight, unhealthy, beer loving father who works in a Nuclear Power Plant, Marge is the hardworking homemaker wife / supermom, Bart is the ten year old underachiever (and proud of it), Lisa is the unappreciated eight year old genius, and Maggie is the pacifier loving silent infant.
