Porter and Murphy
Hello, I'm Porter, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. My brother, Murphy, and I are trying out things here at Squidoo. For those wondering, Murphy is a fluffy Cardigan Welsh Corgi. We hope to share views on different Welsh Corgi related topics. We also have a blog that our Mom turned over to us. Please stop by at Porter's Ponderings and Murphy's Musings.
Our Story
How we came to be with our Mom
Well, I joined Mom in May of 2004 at about 10 weeks old. I was scared at first but she was great to me. She taught me great tricks, took me to classes and found wonderful activities for us to do (tracking, herding and more.) During 2005, I earned my TD (Tracking Dog) and JHD-s (Junior Herding Dog with sheep)titles. The next year I got my PT (Pre-Trial) title in herding. I'm retired now from herding due to health issues. We have the okay to continue Tracking and other low impact activities, like Rally. She says we are going to work on getting my CGC title and more to become a therapy dog. As I love people, I am sure I could bring joy to others. I guess I better leave room for Murphy. Brothers-ya gotta put up with them. ---Porter---I just joined Mom and Porter January of this year. I was about 10 months old. I had been living with another family, but they did not have much time for me. It was a blessing to be taken in by my new Mom. I know I am a challenge for her, but I have a very busy mind and a Go-Go attitude. She is working with me and she has taught me so much--when I can focus. I love that she takes me herding! She says I might be able to get a herding title this year! I hope I can do as good for her as Porter has done. She says we are going to start Tracking lessons soon. She has been lame herself and not able to practice Tracking with Porter or me. But she got some new things for her feet and hopes to be out there again soon, making tracks for Porter and I to work on. I don't know what this is about yet, but I cannot wait to try it! Mom told me that it looks like I have a good nose for this kind of work. We shall see! Well, I have to go do Window Patrol. There are evil bunnies outside that need barking at! ---Murphy---
