Chris is an representational artist living and working in west Wales in the UK.
Although painting in different media he feel most comfortable working in oils.
His subjects range from welsh landscape paintings, wildlife paintings, pet portraits, to seascapes and Portraits.
He has his own dedicated website at - www.chrischalkart.com where you can purchase some of his latest works and also keep up with his latest paintings in his works in progress section.
He has recently produced some oil painting demo videos of his favourite paintings which can also be seen at the - oil painting video demo section of his website.
His work is in private collections in New Zealand, Australia, America and the UK.
2008 sees his paintings being exhibited at the Cardigan art society exhibition ( summer and winter - further details at his website ).
Also at the 2008 Patchings art exhibition. One of the largest art fairs in the UK.
