Right off the bat:
Don't confuse how much money one has as to his or her success!
These keys will not unlock any opportunities of success without first having a strong and unfailing faith in God or that being which is greater than you.
Please don't go through life as your "own little god."
I encourage you to memorize these six keys
by using the word ADVICE to do so.
"ATTITUDE"
Bloom where you are planted. You have a choice to get back up after temporary set backs. Attitude is a small thing that makes a big difference!
"Direction "
If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there. Write your short term goals down on paper. I have discovered and continue to discover that putting your dreams and goals down on paper lock in or focus your belief that they can be achieved--even if you have to take a course correction in achieving your goals. Success comes in cans, failure comes in can'ts.
"Values "
Explore what is important to you. Maybe it is family, friends, your spirituality or working hard at any given task. I can assure you that your priorities will change as you grow older. Very important that you value yourself and treat yourself like the valuable gift from God that you are.

Birds of a feather flock together. This is to say that if you are hanging around winners or others with a "can do" mind-set, you'll likely adapt to this same kind of thinking. Remember--"SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES"!!

Feelings may change, commitments do not." Success is getting up one more time than you fall. I have often wanted to give up, and then I must think to myself about what the consequences of giving up will be. Generally, this is more than enough of a motivation to make us stick to the task at hand even if we don't feel like it. When the task is achieved, "Whow!--IT FEELS GREAT!

Learning to help others succeed is FAR more important than making sales
What makes me so sure?
Because I've seen people who made (literally) hundreds of sales in their first few months fail because they knew (and/or cared) nothing about helping others.
And I've seen people who have consistently made 1 or 2 sales per month who are doing very well because they learned how to help others.
Will "helping others" and "zero sales" bring success? No.
Will "not helping others" and "LOTS of sales" bring success? No.
To achieve success you must have both. You must be able to "help others" AND "make sales".
So the next question is, "Which comes first?"
Should a person learn how to make sales first, or should he learn to help others first?
That depends.
If you're the type of person who has no regard for what happens to another human being as long as you can put $5 in your pocket, then making sales will probably be your priority... and you will eventually fail.
On the other hand, if you feel that it's more important to be prepared to do as much as you possibly can to help those people who place their trust in you as a friend and a partner in this business, then learning to help others will be your priority... and you will eventually succeed.
Consequently, I think you'll agree that learning to help others succeed is FAR more important than making sales.

Online Business Alliance(OBA) is an Internet-based business and like it or not, the Internet is 99% text. If you don't like to read, get over it. Read. Otherwise you'll never learn what you need to know. It's as simple as that. If you jump out of a boat, you'd better start swimming. If you want to build this business, you'd better start reading. (And don't stop!)
To Guarantee Failure... Don't Participate in the OBC.
Your participation in the OBC (Owner's Business Center) is critical. It's your most important business-building tool. Here's why... It's because that business wasn't designed for YOU to succeed. It was designed for the owners to succeed. You felt like you were succeeding... you felt like things were working... but you ended up empty-handed again because that's how the program was designed.
So the "better way" that was working for you wasn't really working for YOU... it was working for THEM!
Do yourself a favor and don't try to apply what failed elsewhere to your OBA business. I want you to succeed. This business is designed for your success. Don't shoot yourself in the foot by bringing old habits into your new business.

And people are happiest when they are learning new skills, applying those new skills, and moving forward toward their goals... when they feel they're accomplishing something worthwhile.

Our long-term goal
Our long-term goal (at least my goal anyway) is to eliminate the need for anyone to have to figure out how to advertise.After all, if one of my pipes is leaking, I don't need to figure out how to fix it... I simply call a plumber. He fixes the pipe because he knows how and I pay him for the materials he uses plus his time, effort, and knowledge.
Imagine where we'd all be if every time a pipe sprung a leak, we had to login to a website and learn how to be a plumber. Or every time our car needed repair we had to download a car repair manual. Or when one of our children had a toothache we had to find a video and learn dentistry.
That's not the way society works, is it? Throughout centuries of human interaction, specialization has replaced generalization because specialization is more effective and more efficient. We all find a way to earn money so that we can hire specialists to do the things we can't do.
But for some reason we think the Internet should work differently. Everyone is expected to become an expert at advertising. It flies in the face of everything the human species has learned since time began. If we all had to fix our own cars, we'd still be riding horses.
There's WAY too much information in the back office, but just look at how much of it deals with advertising. And look at how much of the ASC deals with advertising. And look at how much time everyone spends on advertising. And look at how many people become frustrated and quit because they never get good at advertising.
