- Sorry to say, for that company it is. Unfortunately, you might be very hard pressed to find any driving job.

- Legally, you can split your sleeper time. 2 hours sleep, drive the hours you have left, then 8 hrs sleep and your ready to start a new day. The only thing you have to say to get a break is "It's a safety issue." Your a Professional Driver, If you need to split the load with a fresh driver contact dispatch. They will take care of you. - Any body let go after driving with a trainer for a week and a background check came back with a misdomenor that was not mentioned on my application because I thought it was off my record. My mistake, but an hosest one with no deception intended My trainer was great all was going well. Then I was sent home and can't seem to catch a break. Is my career over?This is what I want to do. Anyone have any sugesstions where to go from here.

- If he doesn't want you to have sweets in the truck, that's his choice. But the one thing I'm sure he would hate, is if you SWEAT in his truck!

- Every trainer I had was cool. I lucked out and got guys who were cool and experienced. You have to go in with the right attitude. Your like an Airplane Pilot. They Know you need two years experience to make good money. That explains the $200-400 checks. Pilots go through the exact same thing, except their school costs way more and paying dues takes more than 2 years, try 10. YOu have to go in thinking no matter what, I'm finishing! On Money, If you show up with your load on time, everytime they'll start to trust you, Slowly and it will show in your cash flow. In my observation, ex-military guys who are used to getting the job done no matter what, do best. Every time you fuel you get a shower credit, Your trainer if he asks will get credit for a two showers and you'll shower about 3xs an week.Be Cool and your trainer will be too.
