- hi, i left werner a week a go after work for these company 3 month, thy got bullshit trainer and SDM and safety dont care about the student and the driver

- Hello. I just left Werner Trainning school after one day of class. Now that's not much to say about the school, its the tales of the other students trainning there. Some have finished trainning 2 to 3 weeks ago, and their waiting for their truck. Others only needed 20, 50, 100 hours left out of their 275-300 requirded to have your own truck. And their waiting for more trainers to finish trainning them. One guy said he passed CDL school June of 2011, here it is September and he's still waiting for a trainer. So fearing the same will happen to me I left. Now they will pay you 350 dollars per week, pay for you breakfast and lunch, and pay your hotel stay (with a roommate I might add), but it comes down to would you rather get 350 bucks a week at a hotel, knowing you need to pay bills and have to provide for family, waiting 1 week to 4 months for a trainer or to find another company with a better 5 satr ratings?!... just a helpful tip for you guys.

- I was let go after one week, which I felt was unjustly. They said I needed to complete 300 hours, and I only did 25. My trainer was cool and all, and he told me I wasn't where I should be HOWEVER, I was progressing on my driving. Instead, they let me go based on the reviews which I thought was BEYOND stupid. Given that I had 275 hours left, that is a RIDICULOUS amount of time for me to improve, which I was doing in the little time I had. I will admit, at driving school I did not master the clutch. I was given 8 hours of shifting. The reason I got my license is that I was tested on an automatic. Did anybody else have that problem?

- Hey ive been visiting all the stories with all the companies trying to figure whats my next best job in the future, im just a new driver to this, and looking for a good company to get a little time behind the wheel, just a few questions, what is the starting pay, what is the average mile per week and of course my biggest thing is how are the benifits, i just have a school loan and a small rent payment im worried about making and just a little concerned about being able to make those payments, please let me know before i get started with the werner company
