About johndilbeck

John Dilbeck lives in the mountains of western North Carolina, near the small town of Murphy. He loves living in the southern Appalachian mountains, where he avoids the noise, congestion, traffic and other big city hassles that waste time and energy.

Cherokee County, North Carolina abounds in scenic splendor, as you would expect from an area only an hour's drive from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

John spent 30 years mastering computers and teaching others how to use them more effectively. Now, he has turned his attention to blogging, building websites, and forums to help promote the people, organizations, businesses, and events in Cherokee County, NC and the mountain region of North Carolina.

He enjoys creating and selling custom tshirts and other products at his CafePress store: Shirts-Mugs-Hats.com.

He started the Squidoo Marketing community to share knowledge, experiences, and tips with other Squidoo lensmasters who love marketing. You are invited to come join us.

In his spare time, John loves playing guitar and banjo, watching movies from Netflix, and reading anything that doesn't run away.

I love creating lenses on Squidoo and I'm proud to be a Giant Squid. I hope you'll like the lenses I create and will join my fan club, too.
