To get to the bottom of this I referenced the 10 Big Differences Between Men's and Women's Brains - By Amber Hensley. I have summarized my findings below.

We all know that men and women's brains are completely different in the way they process information.

Men are more task oriented and less talkative.
Men have a difficult time reading cues like emotion, empathy etc. which makes it more difficult for them understand emotions, unless they are basically spelled out verbally.

Left Brain
Men typically are left brain thinkers, making them better problem solvers from a task oriented perspective.

Stress
A Mans reaction to stress is a Flight or Fight response and is due to testosterone.

Brain size
Typically, men's brains are 11-12% bigger than women's brains. However, size has nothing to do with intelligence.

Pain
Men and women perceive pain differently. In studies, women require more morphine than men to reach the same level of pain reduction. And as you know Women are more likely to talk about their pain and seek help. While men tend to hold it all in and rarely go to a doctor.

Spatial ability
Men typically have stronger spatial abilities, or being able to mentally represent a shape and its dynamics, whereas women typically struggle in this area.

You do not have to spend a lot of money for a great Valentines Day Gift for your Man. Here are a few ideas to get those creative juices flowing.

1. Make him a fabulous meal, using his favorite foods. Let him quench his thirst with a great micro brew or some really fine wine.
2. Surprise him with a coupon for a Massage, which he could use any day in the future. You could take the massage a step further. I will let you use your imagination on this.
3. Plan a picnic lunch at a beautiful local park. Complete with a soft blanket, bottle of wine and some great sandwiches.
4. Serve him breakfast in bed, and don't forget a little desert as the grand finale.
5. What does he like? Spend a day doing something he enjoys. Does he like cars? Spend a day at a car show. Does he like Fishing? Then fish it is. Get it, pretty simple stuff. Just remember Google is your friend to find just about any local event you want.
