Bakugan Game
Bakugan game is the coolest, hippest new craze for kids. Based on a cartoon which can be seen on Cartoon Network, Bakugan is a game where players roll balls onto metal "gate cards" that then transform into monsters that do battle. Think Transformers, Pokemon on steroids and a sprinkling of Magic: The Gathering and you'll get the idea.
If your kid hasn't begged you to buy him this game yet, he will. This may be the best Christmas present or birthday gift you could give your kid this year.

Bakugan - The Game
Bakugan, the game, is designed for boy ages 6-12 years old. The game is easily learned and played for the young ones but provides enough complexity for the older kids to hold their interest.
Unlike traditional card games such as Magic The Gathering or Yugioh, Bakugan takes card gaming to the next level. Incorporating well designed balls that make you think Transformers and marbles. Playing with "Gate Cards" you roll Bakugan balls on the cards. When two Bakugan balls from opposing players land on the same "Gate Card" they begin to duel by using G Power. The first player to capture three "Gate Cards" wins.
As you can see the game itself isn't all that complicated. The kids though, are going nuts over this. If you haven't jumped on getting this game for your kids yet you really need to get a move on. Bakugan is rare in Walmart and Target. They are still getting them but disappear within a days time. My wife and I were lucky to pick up a packs at Walmart the other night.
